Nubble Lighthouse was a huge success! 🤿🌊

An awesome crew of 9 divers took on the cold Maine water for an incredible day at one of New England’s most iconic shore dives.

Visibility was decent, the water was chilly, and we saw an awesome mix of marine life including lobsters, crabs, starfish, flounder, rock gunnels, and a beautiful juvenile stonefish tucked into the rocks.

Cold water, good viz, great crew. Another Finn’s Up adventure in the books! 🦞⭐️🐟

Meet Katie, our newest certified Open Water Diver! 🤿🎉

She moved from California to Connecticut and THEN decided it was time to hit the ocean and learn to dive. Bold choice! 😂

It clearly paid off because Katie absolutely CRUSHED her course. She is already proving to be a skilled, confident diver and a total buoyancy expert. 🔥

Congratulations to the class of 2026! 👏🏻

Alejandra Reyes graduated from the Sound School Monday with a high school diploma and a certification in scientific and rescue scuba diving. Though she plans to study psychology next year at the University of Connecticut, Reyes said she wants to keep diving as a hobby.

Finn’s Up had an amazing time diving with the Connecticut Scuba Academy in Bonaire this past week! 🌊

From octopus and nudibranchs to sharks and even a baby snake eel, every dive brought something incredible to explore beneath the surface.

Trips like this remind us exactly why we love diving, teaching, and sharing the underwater world with others. We’re feeling more excited than ever for the upcoming summer dive season, and we can’t wait to get back in the water with all of you! 🤿
