Hi everyone! In these tough economic times, we have decided to downsize the boat shop. We will be moving out of our current space to a much smaller one. As a result, we have available an 18' strong back and set of molds for Howard Chappelle's 18' Cape Cod Oystering Skiff (plans available from the Smithsonian)
These are available for cheap, maybe even free.

After two long years, the 18 footer is finally out of the shop. Just a few things left to do before launch. Congrats to our boatbuilders and a big thanks to the strong volunteers who gave us a hand today.

Another hard nights work at the shop. Centerboard trunk is finished, seats are in, as well as one set of knees. One more set to go and the hull will be done except for the final coat of paint!

The rudder for our 18 footer is starting to take shape.
Also, we are happy to announce that there is a photo of our first crew rowing our first bevin's skiff on the WOODENBOAT page.
Our winter break is almost over, and we are excited to get back into the shop and put the finishing touches on the GreenFleet 18 in time for a spring launch.
