Also a big thank you to the H-Z for mentioning lacrosse in the article! ❤️🥍🚀

Today, we pause to honor & remember the brave men & women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage, selflessness, & dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy will never be forgotten.

At NBYL, we are especially grateful for the opportunity to witness the unique strength, discipline, leadership, & character that military service instills. Several of our coaches are prior & active duty military, & their impact reaches far beyond the field.

This Memorial Day, we remember the fallen, honor those who serve, & extend our deepest gratitude to the families who sacrifice alongside them. NBYL is wishing you a safe Memorial Day!

Happy Mother’s Day to the women behind every late night practice, every sideline cheer, every post-game hug, & every ride home after a tough loss. 🥍❤️

Thank you for being the loudest supporters, strongest role models, & biggest fans on & off the field. The heart behind the helmet always starts with Mom.

Today we celebrate the lacrosse moms raising strong athletes & even stronger humans. 💐

Strong with the Force. Dangerous with a lacrosse stick.

Sportsmanship & safety aren’t just “nice to have” in youth lacrosse—they’re the foundation of the game.

Lacrosse is fast, physical, & competitive, but at the youth level, the goal goes far beyond wins & losses. It’s about building athletes who respect the game, their teammates, their opponents, & themselves. True sportsmanship shows up in the little things—helping an opponent up, listening to officials, playing with integrity, & representing your team the right way.

Equally important is safety. Proper equipment, smart play, & adherence to rules exist for a reason. Teaching young players how to check legally, protect themselves, & play under control helps prevent injuries and keeps the game fun for everyone. Coaches, parents, & players all share that responsibility.

When sportsmanship & safety are prioritized, players gain confidence, trust the process, & develop a lifelong love for the game. That’s the real win!

Play hard. Play smart. Play the right way. 🥍
