LONG POST! PLEASE READ. IT MIGHT SAVE YOUR LIFE!
Here is my in car video of a weird situation that happened racing Friday night at Miami County Raceway All was well, and if you want to see what an elbows up race track is… this is for you. The racing is good, but the part I want to share is the end.

A car flipped and the RED flag came out, we stopped. Then i saw a little smoke come from the car, but not much. Then a few seconds later, more smoke. My next thought was… “Is my car on fire?” So i quickly got out of the car.

It wasnt. At the time I didnt know once you got out of the car, you are NOT allowed to return to racing. I guess its a track rule and rules are rules… was i disappointed? Yes. Do i regret the decision? No.

I will race another race. I wasnt injured. The car was fine and even raced it the next day, but my point I would like to remind everyone is… Live to race another day, get out of the car if you think it “could” be on FIRE. There will be more races. Cars n parts can be replaced. You cant be.

I would like to Thank God for keeping me safe when i strap into these cars. He was watching over and keeping me safe this night as well. There was a reason I got out of the car, I dont know exactly what that reason was, but everything happens for a reason.

Solid night at US 24 Speedway, came home with a 2nd in restrictor (21 cars) and got our 1st Top 5 in A-Class Wing (19 Adults) Solid weekend, running 2 classes, 1 win, 2 Top 5’s, shouldve been 3 except for i saw smoke(thought my car was on fire🔥 , got out, it wasnt, and wasnt allowed to race after that per track rules, but pushed both cars back in the trailer the way they came out. ✝️🙏🏻🏁

Team 23 in the house at US 24 Speedway

This was pretty much how our Saturday night ended at Blanket Hill Speedway. Car was fast out of the box, even tho we are testing new stuff for our upcoming national events, won our heat race and starting P2 in the feature. Went out for the Feature and before taking the green, warming up the tires, sheared the bolts off the rear sprocket and that ended the night. Was our best shot to date on getting our 1st Adult 600 feature win, but thatll have to wait until a later date now.
