It will be impossible for me to respond to everyone individually, so I’m making a grand post.
First and foremost, THANK YOU to everyone for putting your trust in me to operate the 48th Bill Rhodman Memorial Classic. As tournament director, one of my responsibilities is verifying TNBA membership before confirming entries. In doing so, I noticed quite a few of you haven’t been TNBA members for some time—which means many of you haven’t bowled a Rhodman in a while. It was great seeing familiar faces back in the building!
THANK YOU to the bowlers who stayed hustling and informing me… I’ve got a bowler for you! That kind of effort was much appreciated and noticed.
I said it all weekend, I’m just the face of the tournament. The real heroes were working behind the scenes, out of sight, putting in the work and keeping everything running. Kimberly Dandridge-Felton, Janeen Morgan, TNBA King Ron & Melissa Holton, Kim Griffin, Tanya Ross, Joyce Kidd, ,Glynda McDougald, Raquel Powell, Megan Morgan-Burton, Tony Walton, and Latise Baker —thank you for making me look like a hip hop star.
Now, the word of the day: BUDGET
Start now. Put aside $50 or more EVERY month, and in 10 months, you’ll be ready to enter the Rhodman stress-free.
If you missed it, TNBA added $1,000, and that was split evenly across the five divisions. There was also various amounts ($540 total) added to four of the five divisions to boost the payouts.
Congrats go to the following:
Mixed Doubles winners Jessica Overton (718) & Jacob Johnson (825)
Rhodman Champs:
Olivia Laird, women
Terri Bollinger, Senior Women
Jason Howard, Men (Back-to back)
Keni Lowe, Senior Men
David Pfeiffer, Super Seniors
Here’s to the 2027 Rhodman being more efficient, even more memorable, and definitely more packed! 💪🎳
