Hey guys, I'm going to be in Hamilton, NZ in July.

I will be there for a week and a bit. And i thought that i might run a short PT business seminar if people are keen. Some of the content i would cover would be;

- Getting started in the industry (general run down of what the industry is like)

The 4 most important things you must know to be successful;
- First contact what to say and do
- Communication/building rapport
- How to bring up the awkward topic of money/ justifying what you're worth/ selling your self
- Having multiple sources of income

These are just things that i have picked up on the way though my experience as a personal trainer.

This is a good idea for Trainers who have just started in the industry and students studying to become PT's.

oh yeah and did i mention its FREE?!!

Today's leg workout;

5 x 12 @ 70% 1RM - Squats
5 x 12 @ 70% 1RM - Leg press
3 x 16 (steps) @ 70% 1RM- Walking Lunge
3 x 15 @ 80% - Seated Calf raises

I know i don't have massive legs but I'm on the journey!!

Trying to grow them Calves?? Here's a tip;

Your calves are made up of two muscles; Gastrocnemius and the Soleus. A standing calf raise will target more so the Gastrocnemius and a seated calf raise will target more so the Soleus. So work these two calf exercises into your program.

Your cardiovascular fitness training doesn't have to be on a boring piece of cardio equipment at the gym, get outside on a tennis court, a basketball court, or whatever and do what you love to do while getting the cardiovascular benefits!!

ITS MONDAY!!! So lets get 'BACK' into the gym and smash the week!!!

Training tip;
Remember that weight training increases your lean muscle, which will increase your resting metabolic rate (burning energy/calories while doing nothing). So do more weights and less long distance cardio.
