What a great week we had at Shipyard Park!
The boys came out playing Arsenal baseball from the very first game, outscoring our opponents 37-5 over the first three days and earning the #1 seed heading into Championship Sunday.
Championship day brought a valuable lesson. In this game, if you don’t play your brand of baseball or match the intensity of a team that wants it just a little more, things can change in a hurry. We came up just short in a nail-biter in the final inning.
It stings right now, but sometimes the toughest losses become the greatest opportunities for growth. This group will learn from it, respond the right way, and come back even stronger.
I couldn’t be more proud of these boys—not just for how they compete, but for the way they love and support one another through both the wins and the losses. That’s what makes this team special. We’ll get back in the lab, keep working, and be ready for the fall!
