Okay, folks, grab a snack and join me in the break room. Jaime Hunt and I broke down how remote work impacts team trust, as well as when employees or candidates should NOT ask for a remote work arrangement.

But you'll really get a kick out of this conversation if you work in higher ed, especially the "Dead Squirrel Caper." Here's the link! https://youtu.be/GrBNNwwQ6Pk

OK, my executive friends, pull up a chair, please...please. 🪑 Because your products and services matter.

If your teams are communicating in silos, that's damaging your company's brand more than you realize.

❌ Sales has created its own narrative about the company.
❌ Operations keeps saying that they just need warm bodies.
❌ Your core values? To Finance, those are more like suggestions.

In the meantime, you walk around the place wondering why every day seems like Groundhog Day as your company plays in the mediocrity sandbox. 🤔

How much do you want to bet that it starts with an executive team that either bickers or settles for collecting paychecks instead of working together?

I'm not making this up. I've seen it for myself. 😵‍💫

As a former strategic communications leader with executive team and talent acquisition experience, I've seen how people who neither communicate nor collaborate impact the brand. 🗣️

Bad communication is an unforced error that leads to bad hires. It ignores employees' concerns, screwing up productivity and destroying trust. Game-changing professionals see what's happening and don't apply for your open positions (and you don't even know it).

💡 This is why employer branding is some next-level stuff. It's incredibly important, especially now, because it communicates that your company understands the importance of the right people.

It's not "niche marketing." It's a real strategy.

I'm not just talking to CEOs, by the way. I'm talking to you, VP or Associate VP. Moving your company to the excellence sandbox can easily start with a simple conversation. So, let's talk. 📞
