I would like to wish the Steel City Warriors “family”, a Merry Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year!

Unfortunately, this happened this week.

Pennsylvania sports complex incident leaves at least 6 hospitalized: police At least six people were hospitalized after police said a fight broke out Sunday afternoon at a Pennsylvania sports complex, leading to a chaotic evacuation, according to authorities.

The girls team of the Steel City Warriors placed 2nd in the East Coast Invitational in Virginia Beach last weekend. Members of the participating squad are (Front Row L-R): Adyson Stull, Mary Rohde, Ellen Rohde, and Katie Dryer. (Back Row L-R): Director Daryl Givner, Mackenzie Harbold, Cami Starkey, Raney Staub, Coach Paul Buffington, Makayla Faulkner, Kylee Stull, Lily Beecroft, and Coach Preston Stull.

The boys team of Steel City also placed 2nd in the same tournament. Members of that participating squad are (Front Row L-R): Brice Tanner, Kam Baker, and EJ Keener. (Back Row L-R): Coach Daryl Givner, Ivan Buggs, Chase Zimmerman, Coach Thomas Buffington, Charles Miller, Josiah Buffington, Dalton Anderson, Jontae Howard, and Coach Evan Boniti.

Daryl and I want to thank all of our players and families who traveled to VA this past weekend! We hope you had a great experience and wish you safe travels home.

We also thank everyone for their involvement in the 2021 season. It’s been a challenge with the pandemic, but we are happy to say we made it through!

Wishing our seniors the best in the next chapters of your lives, as well as continuing success for the rest of the athletes and families in the upcoming school year!

CONGRATULATIONS LADIES !!! - The Steel City Warriors recently won the Gold Championship of the Youngstown Spring Classic. This was the team's second tournament sweep in three weeks.
