Helping millennial women prioritize their health, master their mindset, and find joy in the journey.

It's 3:30 PM. You're so close to ending your workday, but still have SO much to get done. Yes, the vending machine (or fridge) is right there and a large Diet Coke (or Starbucks Refresher) sounds delicious right now. But, is that what you really NEED? Probably not. A can of soda typically has more than 35 g of sugar; that's more sugar than doctors suggest we consume in a WHOLE day. Gone. In minutes.

Also, that can of soda is not going to solve your problem. You need ENERGY, FOCUS, a sweet little pick me up, without any sugar crash after. Y'all... I found it and she is delicious. Want to step up your afternoon productivity game? This is the tea for you. Comment below if you want the details on trying it today!

No disrespect to the gym but you don't *need* to have a gym membership to get results. But shoot, if you've pre-paid for a gym membership already, you can do any of these programs at the gym and take advantage of all the weights they have there! But you don't HAVE to in order to see amazing results!

I get asked all the time if my at-home workouts and nutrition plan were the only things I've done to lose weight/tone and the answer is YES. I also walk (and bike in the summer) but these programs have been IT for me.

20-45 min a day, 5-6 days a week. That’s it. You can do this too, girlfriend! I'll help you!

And since people always love to ask -
📷The photos taken about 2.5 years apart.
⬇️I've lost 35 pounds.
🏋️‍♀️Mostly weightlifting with a day or two of cardio each week - although it varies based on the program I'm doing.

What do I do?

I stay consistent. I threw in one earbud (safety first!) during my outdoor walk today and listened to call that's been on my to-do list for 6 weeks. Two birds, one stone.

On the call she talked about consistency. Consistency is essential to everything you want to be successful at.

You can't go hard in the paint for one week with your diet and exercise and then quit and expect to maintain those results. What you can do is show up each day, and try to be just 1% better than you were yesterday. When you stay consistent day in and day out, eventually you're going to see results. I promise.

The best part? It requires no talent to be consistent. You just have to be determined to show up each day and not quit. Some days you'll have to pivot. Some days will require a little extra planning or to get up a little earlier but those things are absolutely do-able with a little determination.

If you're struggling to stay consistent - have an honest conversation with yourself about why. It's possible you're being overly restrictive with food or forcing yourself to workout in a manner that's not in harmony with your lifestyle, goals, or current fitness level. Those things aren't sustainable (and could cause injury). Find something you can maintain, that you can see yourself doing for life - and it'll be easier to stay consistent. Then you'll see transformative results. If you're struggling to stay consistent, let's chat about your goals and let's see if we don't need to make some adjustments so you can reach them!

Same shirt -- different girl.

7/2019 - I remember loving this shirt because it was a flattering style and sorta hid my body and how uncomfortable I was in my skin.

4/2021 - Two years later and 12 pounds lighter I was feeling amazing. Not yet at my goal, but so proud of myself for the progress I was making on the outside - and the inside. I remember posting that first side by side in this shirt and being ecstatic.

3/2022 - Another 7 pounds lighter, out enjoying a vacation, drinking all the drinks, eating whatever food I wanted because I have truly found balance and joy in the journey.

It's wild what happens when you don't give up, even when it's tough or not convenient. The time is going to pass anyway. I'm still working on myself and my goals, why don't we do it together?

I am the girl that used to roll her eyes when people spoke about mindfulness and meditation. Who has time for it? My days felt like they were on autopilot, always the same, day after day. When my head hit the pillow each night I had a hard time reflecting on a moment in my day when I was truly present. Between all the runaround, screen time, and refreshing my social media feed... if I wasn't in control of my days, who was?!

What I've learned from working on my health and wellness lately is that small steps compound into BIG progress. Spending 10 minutes with myself, focused on my breathing, has about 10x the effect on my day as spending 10 minutes on social media. Taking a 30-minute walk in nature will calm me in a way my coffee drive-through runs never will.

I don't want to roll my eyes anymore at self-care. I want to show how simple it can be and match my friends and family with the resources that are supporting my journey now. What does self care look like in your day? When do you feel truly present?

It's been awhile since I've shared some fun facts about myself and sounds like a catchy hashtag for this kind of thing! 🤣 I would love to see if we have anything in common, tell me below! 👇

1. I compost, recycle my plastic bags at the grocery store, and use my own produce bags. If I can bag my own groceries I'll use reusable grocery bags, but if someone else is bagging I just let them use the plastic bags because I'm super picky about how things are packed. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2. I make my own Kombucha. In 2020 we were getting ready to go on our honeymoon when everything shut down so I started making Kombucha with a starter a friend had given me. If I have some made and you visit my house, expect to try some!

3. I love paper crafts. I've scrapbooked since I was 12. I've amassed stickers long before then. I'll always use a paper planner. I buy pens like they're going out of style and have them sorted by color and if they've been used or not.

4. We've always named our vehicles. My SUV's name is Roxanne. (she's red).

5. I've been to 34 states and 15 countries. I was a Spanish Major in college but strangely enough, I've never been to Mexico. (I say this because I feel like I should have by now.)

Okay fit friends... it's new program season and I absolutely love giving you a free preview into the new content coming to my virtual gym! This program is brand new, 4 weeks long and includes strength training, resistance toning, cardio and weekly stretch and destress workouts. It is also led by two incredible mamas - is there anything better than getting fit and fabulous with a group of other like-minded women?

I'm looking for 10 friends to try this workout and give me feedback on what they think. Can you help a girl out?

Why Friday?

That's the number one question I've received when I told people I was starting 75 Hard yesterday

And my answer - why not?

Yeah, there was some backwards counting involved to make sure that I was done by a certain date, but beyond that, WHY NOT?

You don't have to wait until Monday to start working out - and if you fall off, you don't have to wait until Monday to start over. Start the next day, or even better, start today!

And if your current routine has you feeling blah, let me know because I've got a whole PDF of freebies I'll send your way!

It's National Fitness Day! Are you celebrating?

If fitness isn't a part of your daily routine, it may seem hard to celebrate anything. If you don't feel comfortable, confident, and strong in your body, you may not feel like celebrating anything at all. I want to invite you today to take the first step; to try something new, honor this one body you have, and MOVE. I have free workout access for you to try for the next 2 weeks, including our new live platform of workouts you can schedule and interact with TODAY.

How are you going to celebrate your fitness? I can't wait to hear from you!

How many summers have gone by with you looking at photos of fun, family, and friends, getting completely distracted by how you look? How many photos do you want to post and print as memories, but don't because you're uncomfortable with how your clothes fit (or don't fit).

I want Summer 2022 to be the summer of no regrets. I want this summer to be a time where I feel comfortable, confident, and content with making memories that will last a lifetime, without memories of cellulite, oversized cover-ups, or cropping myself out altogether!

This isn't about weight loss. This is about guilt loss, shame loss, and judgment loss. I'm so proud to be a part of a community that supports my journey and so many others to love the body they're in!

How can you make Summer 2022 your best summer yet? I'd love to hear from you (and if you want more support, send me a DM so I can get you all the info on my May & June groups starting soon!)

"No one is you and that is your power."

I said "no" to coaching multiple times. I was struggling to stay on track with my nutrition and fitness so how could I motivate others?

I also didn't know the first thing about being a health and fitness coach. But I knew how powerful accountability is. And I knew one of my strengths is how encouraging I am.

I decided to lean into the accountability - showing up for others would mean I would be showing up for myself. Cheering my clients on would bring me fulfillment in a way that my corporate job never could. Saying yes allowed me to align deeper with my natural strengths and with who I wanted to be.

I know it's scary to put yourself out there...

The world needs your strengths. Can you imagine how your life - and the life of those around you - will change if you lean into that power?

We are hosting a coach info session & workshop starting on Monday. If you're interested in learning more about what I do and how you can join me, send me a message or fill out my form at xoxostar.com/influencer and I'll get you the link!
