In the Spartan organization, our eye has always been on the prize and our Travel Ball “Why” clearly defined:

Develop young men to succeed as Student Athletes on & off the field with the goal of setting them up to be successful through their varsity years. Teach them how to succeed, teach them how to fail , teach them determination through adversity, teach them the importance of work ethic , teach them the importance of being a good teammate, teach them how to win and lose as a TEAM & most importantly, teach them Life through the game of Baseball

Sad news to report as tragedy struck the 13u LTG Stars during their World trip to Branson last week.

Shannon Summers , the father of TY , drowned on their off day doing a team water excursion.

Although we're competitors on the diamond, I consider the entire local travel world to be family.

The family is struggling financially to just bring the body home, so I'd be remiss if I didn't share. Anything helps.
