Chugger Run, tonight uptown.... Some folks will start out at NY Pizza on Magazine, then run to the park and back. Some folks will be running at the park and then heading over to NY Pizza afterwards for some rehydration. Sometime around 6pm give or take...

Another good one...
Heatwave Classic Triathlon This year's race will consist of a ½ mile swim in the Ross Barnett Reservoir, a 24 ½ mile bike ride along the scenic and historic Natchez Trace Parkway, and ending with a 10K run along Ridgeland's heavily shaded Multi-Use Trail.

Another note worthy event for a great cause... This year they've also added a 5k to the schedule, not just a bike ride, so there is something for everyone!
Tour de Lis The goal of the Tour de Lis is to provide a ride that is safe, fun, non-competitive and open to all levels of cycling ability, while bringing cancer awareness to the community and raising funds for organizations that are in the forefront of Cancer Survivor Support.

WARNING TO ALL NEW ORLEANS ATHLETES: It has been brought to our attention that there have been a rash of car burglaries at Jefferson Playground as well as City Park and the lakefront. The thieves are smashing windows and stealing purses or anything else, especially things in plain sight. Please, be aware of your surroundings, and never leave anything of any value in plain sight in your vehicle.
Chugger Run tonight at New York Pizza. It's a great group of people, so come get some milage in, and make some new friends.
