I Am Valuable- Self Love Teachings

Number 9 in my appreciation practice.
Today’s Goddess is non other then my Mother-
Mother & Daughter relationships can be beautiful, rich, and very fu***ng complicated.
My mother taught me so much about creativity, choosing my own path, working for myself , and being whoever it is I need to be in this life.
My mom worked in the regular 9 to 5 world for a long time, until one day she said “ F**K THIS “ and created her own jobs.
She created a haunted tour business in New Orleans, was a hypnotherapist, gestalt therapist, reiki master/teacher, a massage therapist, and then she created her own wedding business called “ Heartlight Weddings “ and has been performing nondenominational weddings for many many years now.
She also decided “ hey I want to write a book”, and now she’s on her 3rd book.
My mom fearlessly pursues what she decided’s she wants to do.
She has had one hell of a life filled with amazing stories, and incredible heartbreak.
One of the greatest gifts she helped me cultivate as a mother/ teacher was to think for myself.
She let me decide what I believed spiritually, she never insisted I follow her path or her truth.
She let me choose how I was educated, it was a long and crazy journey, but she never forced me to do it like everyone else might think I should.
Creating a safe space for me to question myself, question her, question life, question god, work , money, the establishment.
Our life together isn’t perfect, she isn’t perfect.
I think one of the most painful & liberating moments of my life, is the moment I really understood that my parents are HUMAN BEINGS.
Flawed, wounded, with all their own trauma, and struggles.
It’s like watching a God fall to earth. At first it feels terrifying, like nothing in life can ever feel safe again, but then slowly it starts to make sense & this sense of freedom starts to come over you.
Not demanding my mother be something more then human is the greatest gift I could give her as a daughter.
I’m honored to have been this beautiful woman’s daughter, she is outspoken, stubborn, passionate, a Gemini ♊️ through and through.

This amazing human being is the owner of and she has been such a fantastic source of inspiration for me for years.
I met Amanda through my bestie . Amanda and Jenn we’re both working at willows dream at the time and jenn hooked Amanda and I up to trade our services with each other.
We got to know each other very well over the several years we traded.
Amanda’s story is not mine to tell, but she blew me away with her story and what she lived through.
Most people who went through what Amanda went through would probably turn out to be basket cases.
But Amanda turned to her own inner drive to leave the toxic situations she was in & to seek help.
I truly believe that the willingness to ask for help is one of the most things we as humans can do.
Breaking the very false beliefs that we have to do it all alone, figure it all out on our own , and that needing help is weak.
Amanda is now one of the most grounded, down to earth, open hearted women I know.
Her approach to parenting her 3 beautiful daughters is one of the most beautiful I’ve ever witnessed.
The love she shares with her husband is so magical to behold ( definitely relationship goals material)
Amanda also decided she wanted more from her career as a Hair artist , and she made that dream a reality by becoming a business owner, and opening her own hair studio.
She has navigated a crazy health struggle & shown such , commitment, and on her journey of .
Amanda helped me heal my resistance to ‘s and embrace my own Virgo energy in my birthday chart.
She is also a cat mom 😻
Amanda’s kind heart, love, and personal integrity come through in all that she does.
She is truly a utterly amazing, beautiful, and talented soul.
It is an honor to know this woman.

I had a very interesting day and night yesterday.
I was flooded with all these and insights.
I felt high, wired , on fire.
Like my brain was working faster then usual 🤓
I had a breakthrough about a route I’m going to take with my coaching.
Being a deeply but NOT religious person, I’ve been struggling with how to incorporate my spiritual insights into my without it turning people off whom have zero interest or openness to anything even vaguely spiritual.
1) those people are probably not the best fit as a client with me.
2) having a whole new line of coaching that is its own thing altogether.
I feel completely inspired to help those whom are either trying to step away from their past religious background but don’t know what to do.
Being a safe space for exploring what means in your heart, how that feels right to you as far as beliefs/ lifestyle/ practices/ morals etc.
Working with the and that tends to come from very strict and or conservative religion.
And also helping people who have Zero experience of religion in their lives, maybe they’re atheists, or simply haven’t even given it thought.
If they find themselves feeling drawn to something more, wanting some sort of relationship with the great unknown, I will supply information, support, and a open space for .
This is 100% about allowing individuals the space to explore what spirituality means to them, NOT trying to get people to believe what I believe.
I feel ones relationship with , , , the etc is Very Personal.
I’ve had my own crisis of my own version of faith before.
I feel it’s healthy to check your , see if anything needs updating.
To question yourself if you find yourself becoming super dogmatic & thinking your beliefs are the ONLY Truth Period.
I believe our relationship with the great big unknown can be one of the tenderest, most relationships we will ever have.
/ / God.. All pretty big subjects & I know I have felt more terror sharing my spiritual beliefs then anything else.

Today is day 7 of Empowered / Inspiring Women Appreciation.
Today’s magical unicorn 🦄 being is my dear dear dear friend Melissa .
The picture here is from 2yrs ago when Mel came up to visit Asheville from her homeland of San Francisco.
I however met Melissa when I was 27 years old and we were both living in New Orleans.
Mel was starting her journey into a lifelong passion and interest in spirituality.
We met at another friend of mine ( also named Melissa) place of business.
My mom was holding a guided meditation workshop there.
Turned out Melissa worked at Whole Foods & I was also working there doing chair massage.
Melissa is a inspiration to me as she has overcome great pain and adversity in her life.
She has traveled all over the world by herself ,and lived in London and many other places.
She is so fearless in so many ways.
She is also my astrology twin - We are Both Libra Suns with Leo Rising & Leo Moons. What are the odds?!?
We are insanely similar as well as being insanely different.
I feel she has so many of the qualities that I’ve been working on building my whole life.
She is a natural born leader & she has the biggest most beautiful heart and soul in her very tiny human body.
Melissa may be short, but her energy is HUGE!
She could fill a stadium with her power.
Melissa is maybe the most passionate person I’ve ever met.
She is mad crazy in love with Soil , the planet, and helping educate people in really accessible ways on how they can help heal the planet.
Melissa has been a landscaper, a barista, a reiki master, a psych -k healer, a artist, a florist, and worked at a few successful startups in San Fran.
As well as starting her own business
She’s also a sister cat lover ( are you starting to see themes in my appreciation posts?- 6 out of 7 of these women all have cats 🐈)
Melissa is kind, generous, funny, driven, and deeply compassionate.
She is also hella smart & unafraid to challenge herself and learn new things.
She is a force.
I adore her beyond words.
So grateful for this amazing woman and the friendship we have & the great work she is doing on this planet 🌍

I’m feeling so grateful and joyful today.
Yesterday was magical.
Seriously!
Everything I needed to do got done with ease & even pleasure.
Despite having a pulled muscle in my back I was feeling really great.
Then the awesome new dance class I’m taking was so much fun.
Today I have a nice chill day,
My regular Wednesday morning client & now Acupuncture.
I’m free the rest of the day to be creative, tidy things, or lie on my couch with my cats.
The options are limitless.. Maybe even another dance class tonight?
Oh and my back is so much better today!
It freaking healed over night 💪🏼

Day 6) of Empowered / Inspiring Women Appreciation.
Today’s Goddess is .
This Amazing queen is yet another woman who doesn’t see her own undeniable beauty & gifts.
I met Ariah prolly about a year or so ago, she is a part of the dance community I know.
Ariah stunned me with her breath taking beauty & her awesome dance moves.
I’m pretty sure Ariah is only 25 or younger?
And I’m blown away by all this woman does.
She is a esthetician , a makeup artist, a ballroom dancer, a model, a photographer, a awesome pole dancer, and a dance teacher, and choreographer!!!!!

I was barely surviving my life at her age.
I’m super grateful this fantastic woman has come into my life.
She has such a loving spirit, a big heart, and a gentle presence that’s always lovely to be around.
Ariah is helping me breakthrough my creative blocks around choreography, and I was not surprised when she had a ton of great ideas fresh out the gate.
I’m super excited to work with Ariah as a subject for one of her beautiful photo shoots, and I hope to one day do a dance collaboration with her for a performance piece.
I’m going to her dirty dancing class tonight & I’m beyond excited to bask in her brilliant creative expression.
I believe Ariah is like a fine wine, she will continue to get better and better with time.
She and her partner did a gorgeous ballroom dance piece together, creating and choreographing the whole dance together.
I can’t even imagine!

Day 5) of empowered inspirational women appreciation.
Today’s phenomenal woman is my dear friend Mindy.
I met Mindy 6ish years ago & I absolutely adored her from day 1.
Mindy is a Amazing Acupuncturist, she also teaches at one of the acupuncture schools, and she is a labor and delivery nurse here in Asheville.
Mindy and I have been trading services for years and years.
We have grown into great friends.
Mindy is inspirational to me because she is such a embodied woman.
Her style is so beautiful & she oozes self confidence and class.
She is also hilarious & has a amazing sense of humor.
I ALWAYS feel excited and warm and fuzzy when I’m spending time with Mindy.
She will surprise you with her absolute love and obsession with Axel Rose & Guns & Roses.
She is the person I first went to pole class with


She courageously jumped on board and signed up for classes with me with no hesitation.
She was a major player in my recovery process during my agoraphobia journey.
She worked with me tirelessly with acupuncture and herbs, plus being present for my crying and fear.
She is a amazing healer and light on this planet.
She is one of my all time favorite people I’ve ever met.
She is a beautiful human being both inside and out.
Thank you Mindy for shining your light on this earth 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💜💜💜

Today’s magical goddess is none other then the marvelous, fantastical, gorgeous, and Talented miss
I met this Queen many many years ago through my partner, and it was love at first sight.
Kimi has that personality that truly makes it IMPOSSIBLE not to love her.
She has the Kindest heart!
Kimi is borderline celebrity in AVL.
She is a very successful business owner of tattoos .
She is insanely talented and has worked so hard over the years to be the top of her game .
I admire Kimi and have a deep love for this beautiful unicorn spirit.
She is another woman who doesn’t seem to realize how freaking amazing she is.
On top of being a crazy talented artist, she also breakdances , and is a fantastic pole dancer.
She is a woman living her dreams and playing big in this life.
When I think of someone who represents success while following their passions, Kimi comes to mind.
That’s huge to me!
Doing what we love, I mean truly madly love, is not a easy task.
To be passionate about something and to actually succeed in that field is no joke.
It takes courage & tenacity.
This woman is truly a beautiful soul who deserves all the success in the world.
