This was the second year that Love My Wreath was able to design a wreath for a New Orleans client.

This was inspired by the Sidewalk Steppers' navy blue and white polka dot suits. It was also designed as a mosaic symbolizing the resilence of the people there, and how something even more beautiful can be constructed from destruction. I made this not only for a special person, but for VERY special people!

You never forget your first! This was a Christmas tree I created out of a wrought-iron dress form for The Brooklyn Wine Yard several years back. It took me 10 hours to finish it. I took empty tequila and vodka bottles out back, spray-painted them gold and tied red ribbons around their necks and placed them under the tree as presents. It was an honor and it also started me down the wreath-making path.

If you scroll in a bit, you'll also see the first wreath I ever made! I look at it and realize I didn't know what the hell I was doing, but I've always been the type of person who can create the impossible on a budget...or excess!
