1998 Eric Clapton Concert 🎶
On May 20th, 1998 Eric Clapton performed at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans as part of his Pilgrim world tour. The concert featured a 17 song setlist with a mix of new records from the Pilgrim album and classic blues and rock hits. Because of the massive size of the Superdome a significant portion of the stadium was curtained off. Closing off approximately one third of the dome's capacity to create a more intimate and acoustic environment for the blues heavy set.

2025 Tulane Graduation 🎓
On this day in history May 17th, 2025 we hosted Tulane University's commencement. This was highly notable as the first time the university held its unified graduation ceremony in the Superdome since 2019, marking a return to the historic venue after renovations. The commencement address was delivered by Emmy Award Winning Abbott Elementary actress and singer Sheryl Lee Ralph.

1994 Pink Floyd Concert 🎶
On this day in history May 14th, 1994 Pink Floyd perfomed at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans for their Division Bell tour. The sold out show brought an attendance of over 41,000 fans and was known for its spectacular quadraphonic sound and mind bending visual effects.
