The Crescent City Classic family is deeply saddened by the passing of our friend, J. Roger Brown.

J. Roger was more than an avid runner. He was a dedicated supporter of our sport and a familiar face behind the scenes. He generously gave his time to help set up races and was always looking for ways to make them better. His passion for running and unwavering commitment to our community left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Thank you, J. Roger, for everything you gave to the Crescent City Classic, our sport, and the running community. You will be greatly missed.
