This young woman went from fear of inhaling water to swimming very well and even achieved the Adult Swim Goals - jumped into deep water, treaded 1 minute and swam length of pool. So proud!

Nearly 20 adult swimmers from as far away as Laplace have learned to swim at SwimNOWNola in Lakeview this summer. Ages ranged from 29 to 74, all driven by a need to enjoy the water safely with friends and family and use it as exercise for life.
This swimmer learned a terrific freestyle strike with breathing and even a flip turn to help her swim laps more efficiently.
