It’s the first of September and it’s Su***de Awareness Month.
Take a moment and check on one another. Su***de is often in silence, but not just theirs. Our lack of awareness, education, and understanding prevents most interventions. It’s not a cry for help, it’s not a cry for attention, it’s not a feeling that goes away or isn’t there because someone is smiling and laughing.
Anything, and I mean ANYTHING can trigger that decision, and it’s usually after the many many “cries” for help.
