My midian shawl was my beach project last week. Love it because you can put it down for months and pick up right where you left off. My first one was lost so I’m making a second in DK instead of mohair.
btw I’m in a sweatshirt bc had breakfast in a beachfront restaurant not bc I hate myself 🤪

Copycat knitting the by Caidree ⁓ Sabina from Diana Sierra because I needed a partner in knitting 👯♀️ Actually working on the i-cord bind off now and ugh its my favorite bind off ever!! Just such a neat finish.

So I’d been seeing these shorts tutorials (with no real instructions) and wanted to test it out. You make 4 large squares and 2 small ones and then stack them, seam the middle, flip and then seam up the sides. There’s different variations of them, some being a wrap.
But what they dont tell you is that unless you have a pancake b***y (no offense), you need a lot more fabric in the back. So I ended up making them a high waist. Added some elastic to the inside with a drawstring and I love them!
They are a bit heavy though, so I’d def use a lighter yarn, probably a DK, moving forward. Currently working on some kind of a top to go with.

Been working on a sarong for Ember, finally blocked it and it made such a massive difference. You can really see the pattern now. Going to start one for myself in yellow to match my swim top. Loving the way it turned out with the white trim! (bc I ran out of blue yarn hehe)
