⚜️ THE NFC SOUTH IS STILL WIDE OPEN! ⚜️

Who Dat Nation, don’t let that 1–2 record breaks your confidence—the Saints are still right in the middle of this division race! New Orleans, Carolina, and Atlanta all have the same record, while Tampa Bay sits at 0–3. Nobody has taken control of the South, and one strong winning streak could change everything! Keep the faith, keep bringing that Black and Gold energy, and believe that our Saints can rise to the top! WE’RE STILL IN THIS—WHO DAT!!! 🖤💛⚜️

Saints Let a 27–16 Lead Slip Away: What We Learned Against the Raiders!

Who Dat Nation, this one hurts. The Saints took control in the third quarter when Tyler Shough found Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant for touchdowns, turning a halftime deficit into a 27–16 lead. But New Orleans gave the ball away four times on its final five possessions, and Las Vegas scored 19 unanswered points to win 35–27. The Saints gained more yards and moved the chains more often, but they could not protect the lead when it mattered most.

There were real positives on offense. Shough threw four touchdown passes, Chris Olave caught nine passes for 107 yards, and Johnson and Fant combined for 12 catches and four scores. The running game also took a step forward with 148 yards on 28 carries after producing just 65 yards against Baltimore. Travis Etienne Jr. contributed 57 yards before leaving with a hamstring injury. Those performances gave the Saints plenty to build on, which makes the finish even more frustrating.

The turning point came when Malcolm Koonce knocked the ball loose from Shough and Maxx Crosby recovered it, setting up the Raiders’ go-ahead touchdown. The play brought back memories of the disputed Jared Goff ruling against Detroit, but the Saints’ bigger problem Sunday was the full string of late mistakes. An interception and two more fumbles followed, giving Kirk Cousins and the Raiders repeated chances to put the game away. If New Orleans wants to turn these close games into wins, it has to protect Shough, secure the football, and finish strong.
