๐ Ngl South Carolina has been pretty consistently dominant and Dawn Staley is at the center! โ๐ฝ Since 2017 sheโs accumulated 3 National Titles, 6 Final Fours in that 8 season span! Also boasting an overall 445-117 CAREER coaching record (72% win %), but a 440-106 record (81% win %) with South Carolina ๐
Not taking anything away from the talent Dawn has been fortunate to work with, but the environment sheโs created helps breed quality players as well. Her players appear to trust her, which their elevation in play is the benefit.

โGREATEST FRESHMANโ sounds kind of wild ๐๐๐ At 6โ9 and 205 lbs, Cooper Flagg (turned 18 on 12/21/2024) is averaging 18.7 ppg, 8.2 rbs, 4.1 ast w/ 1.5 stl, 1.2 blks in 31 mins of play! While elite, curious where Coopโs freshman year ranks in comparison to other elite Duke players! ๐
With a bevy of elite players from Duke, Coop does display similarities to players such as Zion, RJ, JT, Kyrie, BI, Grant Hill, Bobby Hurley, Christian Lasttner, JJ Redick, etc ๐ต๐. Have to love the passion as well. Tune in as this will be a topic discussed more on the show!

Some people believe Brad Beal might not be the answer in Phoenix! ๐ In 29 games so far Beal is AVERAGING 17.5 ppg, 3.3 ast, 3.6 rbd, 0.7 blk, 1.1 stl and 1.9 TOโs on 49/38/75 splits in 33 mins ๐ฆโ๐ฅ๐๐
Granted Beal has been a solid scorer in his career and his efficiency this season we can note. The question does remain is Beal and Book too repetitive? Should Beal come off the bench? Would Beal be willing to remove his no trade clause? ๐
