Quincy Riley showed plenty of promise during his rookie season.

The fourth-round pick wasn't a full-time starter, but he consistently found ways to make an impact whenever his number was called.

His production included:

🖤 1 interception
💛 10 passes defended (T-3rd on team)
🖤 1 forced fumble
💛 35 tackles (29 solo)

Riley appeared in all 17 games and started five of them, yet still finished tied for third on the team in passes defended.

For a rookie selected on Day 3 of the draft, it was an encouraging first season and a sign that the Saints may have found another young contributor in the secondary.

With a full year of NFL experience behind him, Riley appears ready to compete for a larger role entering 2026.

2026 could finally be the year Chase Young earns First-Team All-Pro honors for the first time in his career ⭐️

When Young entered the NFL with the Washington Commanders, he immediately looked like a future superstar, winning Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2020 and flashing the kind of dominant athleticism that made him the No. 2 overall pick.

But after that, everything became complicated. Injuries piled up. Consistency disappeared.

But now, the opportunity in front of him feels enormous. Chase Young has every tool necessary to become one of the NFL’s premier edge rushers again ✅

Pierre Thomas is without a doubt one of the most beloved and impactful players to ever pull on a New Orleans Saints uniform.

And Who Dat Nation will never forget what he brought to the franchise.

Signed as an unheralded, undrafted free agent in 2007 out of Illinois, Thomas defied all odds to spend eight incredible seasons with the Saints'.

He established himself as arguably the best screen-pass executor in modern NFL, pairing an elite 84% career catch percentage with a ruthless, hard-nosed running style that constantly turned short gains into explosive first downs.

True Saints fans will always hold a special place in their hearts for his historic contributions during the legendary 2009 Super Bowl run.

Finishing his Saints career with 3,745 rushing yards, 2,608 receiving yards, and 41 total touchdowns, he earned a well-deserved induction into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2018.

Pierre Thomas gave his absolute all to the city of New Orleans, embodying the grit, resilience, and heart of the team, and his legacy as a true Saints legend is locked in forever.

Finding the perfect balance of elite perimeter coverage and heavy-hitting safety play was the defining mission for our defense over this four-year stretch.

Marshon Lattimore and Marcus Williams quickly established themselves as the elite foundation of the secondary while working alongside Eli Apple and Kurt Coleman back in 2018.

The room locked in even further the following season when Vonn Bell brought an incredibly physical, tone-setting presence to the box to completely take away intermediate throwing lanes. ⚜️

Bringing in seasoned playmakers like Janoris Jackrabbit Jenkins and welcoming back Malcolm Jenkins in 2020 gave our entire coverage unit an immense amount of veteran intelligence.

The 2021 campaign proved our front office could reload the boundary instantly when rookie Paulson Adebo stepped onto the grass and played like a seasoned pro right away. 🎺

Tracking this roster evolution shows exactly how much premium talent passed through the dome to keep our championship window wide open.
