Wiener Dog Races

Wiener Dog races have been postponed, but the horses are still racing today! General admission is free & doors open at noon!

If you already purchased tickets for March 8th to see the wiener dogs, please check your email. Should you wish to switch your tickets, Ticketmaster has sent out communication about how to proceed and is waiting to hear from you! 🐶

In light of the forecast and the safety of our little racers, we have decided to reschedule the Wiener Dog Races to Saturday, March 15. Tickets are still available and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.

Thanks so much to the New Orleans Police & Justice Foundation and the Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association for putting together amazing programs to help feed the police officers working during Mardi Gras. The team at Fair Grounds is grateful to participate and proud to support our officers!

We started our Mardi Gras off right with a golf cart parade on the back side of the track! Join us today for a fun day of racing and who knows, you may even catch a bead or two! Grandstand General Admission is free 🐴
