The Cracked Google Krewe is a group of guys and gals that love riding on 2 wheels. We don't have twisty roads but we do have plenty of pot holes to avoid.

Let the good times roll!!!!!!!!

RIDE ALERT ‼️
My buddy Bobby is organizing a ride to Alabama next week. Looks like nice ride if you can make it. Spread the word!

This is what he has to say

I’m throwing this out there, just in case... It’s that time of year to plan your Last Ride of the Year. In the Long Distance community, this is an annual event to ride to the Stagecoach Diner in Stockton, AL, on the 30th of December. There are ways to accomplish it by avoiding interstates, but from NOLA, that’s a chore. This will be my fourth year, I think, and I’ll be riding my big bike, but we did it on Vespas the first year!

The tentative plan will be to rendezvous at Cafe Du Monde in City Park at 6 am. KSU at 6:30. Exiting the park to De Saix Blvd, and then pick up I-610 and then over the high-rise on to Slidell. We will meet a rider or two somewhere between Slidell and the State Line... TBD. We’ll stay on I-59 to the Poplarville exit... MS Hwy 26. There’s a Love’s Truck Stop there where we can take a break, get gas, coffee... We’re not in a hurry. We’ll cross Mississippi on Hwy 26. It’s pretty straight but hilly, and it’s a very pleasant road. In Lucedale we’ll stop at another Loves and everybody should top off their gas. That should give even the smallest bike enough gas for the round trip to the Stagecoach and back.

The Stagecoach is just a diner with a buffet line. Meat and two sides, Iced Tea, dessert, less than $20. The trick is to get in line for food before the line gets too long! Awards are presented at noon, we will not be up for any awards... Youngest, Oldest, Farthest ridden, oldest bike.

The parking lot will start thinning out around 1pm, and will be empty by 2. We’ll head out around 1. We’ll stop again at the same two spots. You’re welcome to leave early or late, just let me know.

The whole round trip is about 400 miles. Watch the weather and dress accordingly... use Wiggins as one of your data points.

This is not an epic ride, but The Last Ride draws around 800 bikes from all over. We are so fortunate to live so far south that we can ride in December and January. If you’re not up for it this year, or don’t have the gear... This event is 28+ years old, so start planning for next year and use it as an excuse to level-up your cold weather gear.

Hope to see my fellow riders on Sunday if you can’t make it, but still want to donate a toy message me and I’ll arrange pick up.
