Updated MVP list for 8 Ball and the Week 15 9 Ball list. Good luck!

It’s week 15 in 8 ball, and that means one thing: everyone is pestering me for the MVP list. Even though you can just look up all this information by clicking on the matchups on the home page, just sayin. Good luck to all the contenders! And remember, the minimum requirement for division MVP is 10 matches played, but for the overall MVP bonus it’s 12.

Been off Facebook for a minute, so my apologies for being a little (or a lot) behind, but here is the photo dump from the end of last season. Congratulations to Red Door Da Mob for taking down the 9 Ball championship, trouncing my team, Fahy’s Syndicate, in the finals 3-0 in record time. Congrats to Fahy’s Liquorish Sticks for winning the 8 Ball title over Goldy’s Big Sticks. Both winners were first time champions.
Shoutout to JP Robinson for yet another tournament win in the 9 Ball All Star, taking down Casey Jajuga in the final, and to Rudy Gonzales for winning the 8 Ball All Star over Curt Calegan in an all Chalmette final. And, of course, in the crazy post meeting tournament, this time a blind draw scotch doubles event, it was Joseph Evans and myself taking down Deonta Johnson and Tim Tamm in the final.
Congratulations to all the winners. The cover photo will be updated shortly. And I promise I will try to keep our social media page updated in the future. Life just keeps getting in the way.

New season for 8 Ball and 9 Ball starts next week. Schedule should be out by the weekend. Looks like we have an odd number of teams in both leagues, so if any new teams want to get in last minute, the opportunity is there. I can just slide you into the bye week slot. Let me know in the next day or two.

Reminder: captains meeting at Fahy’s tomorrow (11/15) night at 6:30 for both leagues, 8 & 9. We will have a little tournament after for anyone interested. The format is once again a surprise, so don’t ask.

Eight Ball Finals will be at Fahy’s tomorrow night (10/8) at 6:30. Fahy’s Liquorish Sticks will be hosting Goldy’s Big Sticks. NOLA Po Boys will be providing the food. Come on out and see who wins, not to mention to collect your money and/or trophies if you have such coming.
Captains meeting for both leagues, 8 & 9, will be next Wednesday (10/15) at Fahy’s at 6:30.

Nine Ball finals will be held at Fahy’s tomorrow (Tuesday) night, 6:30 start time. It’s Fahy’s Syndicate vs Red Door Tha Mob. I’ll be bringing pizzas, and the drinks will be flowing. Come by and sweat the action. Since my team is in it, to avoid any conflict of interest, we will have a special celebrity guest referee: Casey Jajuga of Big Daddy’s Little Athletes.
Eight Ball finals will be a week from Wednesday, location still to be determined.
Trophies and checks will be handed out both nights.
Captains meeting for both leagues will be the following Wednesday, 10/15, at Fahy’s at 6:30.
