Big shoutout to our biggest inspiration, Hannah Huppi💗
A true girl boss—first woman to row the Arctic, multiple world record holder, and now an Emmy nominee (with her husband and crew) for NFL Films Presents: The Arctic Challenge, all while raising money for charity.
Beyond her achievements on the water, Hannah gives back endlessly—serving as a longtime Survivor Rowing advisor and recently creating a new curriculum that’s transformed our athletes.
We’re so grateful for you, Hannah. Keep rocking the boat and inspiring women and girls everywhere! 🚣♀️

💕 NOIRC CHARITY RELAY 💕
Survivor Rowing Club is beyond grateful to have been selected as a charity partner for this year’s New Orleans Indoor Rowing Championships.
Thanks to the generosity of NOIRC and everyone who participated in the Charity Team Relay, proceeds from the event will directly support our mission of getting breast cancer survivors moving through the sport of rowing.
Suzette Doucet, President of Survivor Rowing Club, shared:
“Survivor Rowing Club is beyond grateful to be the recipient of proceeds from the New Orleans Indoor Rowing Championship charity relay. This funding will help us continue to support breast cancer survivors in providing rowing exercise opportunities that lower cancer recurrence risk while also building a supportive community of bad ass women united in one goal.
When we founded SRC just over a year ago, we had no idea how quickly we would be accepted into this community, learn to row and compete, and end up on the winners’ podium. We are simply overwhelmed by the support of Hannah and the entire NOIRC team and energized for what’s to come.”
Thank you to every team, athlete, volunteer, and supporter who showed up for the Charity Team Relay. Your support is helping Survivor Rowing Club grow and continue serving this incredible community.

We’re getting ready for the New Orleans Indoor Rowing Championships on January 31st and the energy is building 💪
Many of our members have been putting in the work at , training for the Masters Women’s 2000m race, and we are so proud of the dedication and strength they bring to every session. We cannot wait to see that hard work shine on race day.
We are also excited to bring friends, family, and community members together for the 2026 Charity Team Relay at the New Orleans Indoor Rowing Championships. Teams of up to 10 people will row a collective 150 minutes, representing the 150 minutes of exercise recommended to help reduce the risk of cancer recurrence.
This relay not only raises critical funds for our rowing team of survivors, but also helps us share an important message and showcase the strength, resilience, and power of breast cancer survivors.
If you would like to create a charity team or join an existing one, click here: https://tinyurl.com/NOIRCCHARITY2026 or drop us a comment or DM and we’ll reach out. All participants will have the option to include the name or names of a loved one they are rowing for. Together, we can show the power of community, movement, and awareness 💗🚣
