Bruce Beck Sports Broadcasting Camp

Great catching up to John Boccio - on of our all-time best campers! The Chaminade High School graduate will be a Senior at Syracuse University this fall. I ran into him today at the New York Giants practice complex in East Rutherford. John is interning this summer for the great Rodger Wyland WNYT at WNYT NewsChannel 13 in Albany! Remember his name - he will be a super sportscaster in the years to come. John spent 5 years at our camp and texted me this note today - “So thankful for the camp and everything it taught me. It’s isuch an incredible experience!”

How lucky am I? I get to work with this gorgeous woman for 12 months every year on the Bruce Beck Camp! She is the Camp Director and the glue to our summer experience for over 120 kids. We just finished our 10th camp in Westchester - and our best ever! I love you to the moon and back Janet Schneider Beck! 💙💜

Thank you New York Mets - our camp grand finale was awesome. Meeting with the players and calling the action from the seats was spectacular!!

Interview Day! Our campers had an opportunity to go 1 on 1 with 6 terrific guests. The group included New York Knicks 🏀 legend John Starks; New York Islanders owner, Jon Ledecky; legendary play-by-play man, Kenny Albert, and ESPN broadcaster, Alan Hahn; Jets Ring of Honor inductee, Marty Lyons and former New York Jets QB and pro bowler and Emmy Award winning sportscaster, Ray Lucas. What a day!
