Wishing a very Happy Birthday week to a historic - ⚾️💪

Maybelle Blair, 94, is a in women’s , playing as a in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League ( ) in the 1940s and 1950s. She joined the league in 1948, playing for teams like the Peoria Redwings, Chicago Cardinals, and Fort Wayne Daisies.
ℹ️The AAGPBL was created during to entertain crowds while male players were overseas, giving women like Blair the chance to compete in a male-dominated sport. Blair’s legacy continues to inspire as she advocates for women in sports and works to preserve the history of the AAGPBL.
