🫶🏽🌕🌖🌗🌘🌑🌒🌓🌔🌝✨

The Snow Moon rises on Sunday 1st February at 16:07, glowing bright against the muted light of late winter.

For generations, people knew February’s full moon as the Snow Moon. It marked the coldest stretch of winter, a time of survival, patience, and quiet strength.
The name carries both starkness and hope: a reminder that even when the world feels still and silent, the earliest signs of new life are gathering beneath the surface.

Just as the Cold Moon marked deep winter, the Snow Moon marks endurance, one final stretch before the earth softens again.
Traditionally, the Snow Moon symbolised patience, resilience, and the slow, quiet preparation for spring.

Endurance - moving steadily through challenging seasons
Clarity - winter stripping things back to what truly matters
Renewal - the subtle beginnings of new energy forming beneath the surface
Trust - believing in cycles even when progress is hidden
In simple terms, the Snow Moon reminds us that not all growth is visible.
Sometimes the most important changes happen quietly, beneath the snow.

Spiritually, the Snow Moon is linked with patience, renewal, deep rest, and clarity.
Winter’s stillness can feel stark, but it also helps us see what matters, and what doesn’t. This full moon encourages us to slow down, conserve our energy, and prepare internally for the new cycle ahead.
Just as the first green shoots form unseen beneath frozen ground, the Snow Moon reminds us that renewal is already beginning, even if we can’t yet see it.

The Snow Moon invites gentle reflection:

Where can you soften your grip?
Where can you let stillness support you?
Where might rest be the medicine you’ve been avoiding?

Just as the land rests beneath its snowy blanket, we too are allowed to pause. This moon is about resilience, yes, but also about gentleness. Knowing you don’t have to push to be moving forward.

The killings by federal agents of Renée Good and Alex Pretti took place less than 20 minutes from Patagonia’s St. Paul store, a location that’s been part of the community for 21 years. To support the Minneapolis-St. Paul community, we are donating to local organizations selected by our St. Paul store team. We are also writing to US senators in every state where we have employees to encourage them to vote against further funding for DHS and ICE. And we’re calling on other businesses to step up and join in solidarity.

There have been 12 shootings by ICE and Border Patrol agents since September 2025. We are witnessing the militarization of our cities, the expansion of unchecked enforcement power, and a campaign of terror against communities of color and immigrants.

This must end. Please join us and the ACLU by contacting your senators and telling them to vote against a bill that will increase DHS and ICE funding. History shows that public pressure and collective action work, as demonstrated by the people of Minneapolis. We’re inspired by their resolve, their compassion and their courage.

With so many environmental rollbacks this past year, we’ve mobilized where we believe we can be most effective: protecting the natural world. But we can’t stand by while our communities are targeted by government-sanctioned violence.

Your death
is more certain than your marriage. Yet we spend our lives chasing romance, validation, and forever promises—
while ignoring the only certainty that walks beside us every day.

In Buddhism, this awareness is called maranasati — mindfulness of death.
Not to create fear,
but to awaken urgency, clarity, and depth.

Because when you truly understand that death is guaranteed,
you stop wasting your life scrolling for approval.
You stop begging to be chosen.
You stop postponing inner work.

So instead of searching endlessly for a soulmate,
start working on your soul, mate.

Don’t swipe for love.
Sit with yourself.
Discipline your mind.
Purify your intentions.
Strengthen your character.

The Buddha never promised romance would save you.
He taught that liberation comes from within.

Build a soul so steady that pleasure doesn’t distract it.
So disciplined that fear can’t control it.
So awake that even death meets it with respect.

Because when the final moment arrives,
no one else can walk it for you.

Not your partner.
Not your status.
Not your stories.

Only the soul you cultivated will stand with you.

So choose wisely what you build—
a fantasy of forever,
or a soul strong enough to face impermanence without regret. 🕯️🕊️

Today is a day for me to reflect on what leadership looks like. Compassion, integrity, honor, strength and the ability to bring people together and act with kindness. To stand up against injustice when we see it; to speak 🗣️ Truth to Power and not bow in the face of ignorance or hate.

Thank you Dr.King.

Today is a day to be reminded of our civic duties and to responsibly move forward by being leaders in our own small circles and to keep the Truth as a beacon to move toward.
✨🌟✨

That’s all I see on my agenda today.
