Have you ever read a children's book with themes that apply to your own life? I know there are plenty, but none have hit so close to home as The Good Egg by Jory John.
It is a story about an egg that is always striving for perfection while its fellow eggs are “bad”. The good egg feels pressure to be perfect and take care of the other eggs in the carton. This causes the good egg to crack. In order to heal these cracks the good egg leaves the carton and practices self-care by taking walks, meditating, and journaling. These simple acts of self-care help the good egg become whole again.
This really resonated with me as a woman and a mom. Our society has placed a premium on women being able to do it all. But at what cost?
Women often focus on the needs of everyone else around them, usually not making time for themselves at all. It’s easy to get lost in the mentality of “I have to do it all”. The pursuit of perfection is self-sabotaging and a major cause of stress, overwhelm, and burn-out.
We need to stop chasing the illusion of perfection and doing it all. If you want to live a healthy and fulfilling life you have to let go of the mindset that doing less makes you “bad”.
It's critical to take care of yourself to heal your internal cracks and bruises in order to show up for others. So spend some time reading a book, taking a walk, journaling, reuniting with a friend...whatever it is you need to feel whole.
What can you do for yourself this week to help heal some of your cracks?
Tag someone who can benefit from a little self-care.

What energy are you putting out?
Good vibes only goes both ways.
Have you ever asked yourself what vibe you are putting out there?
Energy attracts like energy and if you put an energy of lack you will be surrounded by scarcity.
Conversely if you put out an energy of abundance you will get everything you need.
When you are positive, you attract those who are positive.
When you vibrate on a higher level you attract other high-vibration humans like yourself.
The opposite is true as well, when you put out negative energy you will attract more negativity.
If you’re constantly thinking things like, “I am not good enough” or “everything is terrible” this mindset will continue to affect the circumstances in your life.
When you change your mindset and tell yourself a different story. One of positivity and abundance, your circumstances and life will shift and you will be graced with everything you want.
What story are you telling yourself?

My ray of ☀️ on a 🌧 day!
What’s your favorite season?
I love Spring and Summer.
I love spending time outside and can’t wait for everyday to be warm enough to do that.
Living in the North East the amount of time we spend indoors starts to feel claustrophobic after a while.
Especially during Covid when we are unable to participate in the indoor activities we enjoy.
There is no doubt my mood is influenced by the weather. Going for walks even when it’s cold gives me life. I’m so much happier when it’s sunny.
These are some of the things I love about the warmer months:
🌸 Flowers blooming
🏖 Beach days
👗 Cute bright outfits
🍹 Fun drinks outside
🍔 Barbecues
🛹 Kids playing outside
What do you love about your favorite season?

Who else is exhausted all day and wide awake at night?
Not a morning person by any means. I have always been more of a night owl.
But motherhood takes it to another level. I am so tired all day from not getting enough sleep, but instead of going to bed when the kids go to bed all my energy comes flooding in as soon as the sun goes down.
My brain is telling my body it's time to go to sleep, but all of my thoughts, plans, and creative juices start flowing as soon as my head hits the pillow.
Night time is the only time of the day when I am truly alone without any interruptions and it's my opportunity to have ME time.
But staying up late and having broken sleep doesn't set me up for a successful next day.
When I finally settle down to asleep the baby wakes me up to nurse.
After I wake up to feed the baby I often wind up creating to-do lists or checking things off in the middle of the night. Once I get going it's hard to stop.
I'm sure broken sleep will continue to be in my future until my baby gets older but in the meantime I want to implement some new middle of the night strategies so I'm using those precious hours to rest instead of work.
What are some strategies you implement to decompress at night or to get back to sleep after being woken up?

Hi, all! I want to say Hi and introduce myself to all my new mama friends.
I'm Polina, I am a mom of 3 and a certified Mom Empowerment Coach. I specialize in helping moms shift from feeling overwhelmed and unfulfilled to feeling excited and happy as they pursue the life they really want.
I have 3 young kids ages 8, 5, and 2 months. But I am more than just a mom. I am a passionate, energetic, and adventurous woman and I love to have fun!
My desire to help other moms gain confidence, find purpose and experience fulfillment was born out of my personal search for it.
Following my time in the corporate world as a financial marketer, I decided to spend a few years raising my children.
Having children and watching them grow is a gift, but as moms we often start to neglect ourselves and our purpose.
After having children I stopped doing many of the things that made me happy. There just wasn't ever any extra time to focus on myself! Losing myself in motherhood resulted in a lack of balance, constant overwhelm, stress, and resentment. This ultimately led to some serious self-reflection and a search for my higher purpose, leading me to shift my mindset, my goals, and my life.
My life’s passion and purpose is to be of service to other moms who want to feel confident and empowered to to reconnect with their authentic selves, find joy, and lead a life that they truly want.
Let me be your friend, confidant, accountability partner, and biggest chearleader.

“You will often feel as if you don’t fit, but it has never been your destiny to fit in. You were born to stand out.” — Melene Rossouw
Happy International Women’s Day!
I grew up celebrating this day with my family and now I get to celebrate it with my own kids.
I am so proud to be raising 2 strong independent little women that get to experience life on their own terms. I am also proud to be raising a kind sensitive boy who knows how to respect, honor, and love women.
I never fit inside the box people wanted to put me in. I didn’t do or say what people thought I “should”.
Many people tried to change me but it didn’t work. I value authenticity and I live my truth.
For my girls and women everywhere I want to shatter that “box” and support women without expectations, restrictions, and boundaries.
Our only boundaries should be the ones we put on ourselves.
I am excited for my girls to experience a world without limitations.
I want to encourage and celebrate authenticity and being unapologetically yourself.
We are capable of achieving anything we dream of and no one will stand in our way.
We are unstoppable!
