“ is the epitome of pushing to, and through, failure. It’s as much a mental challenge as a physical one. Training pushes you to your limit, and there are so many moments where it would be easier to quit. In those moments, you have to choose what matters more… the temporary discomfort or the bigger goal?

For our first hyrox, we finished in 1:02:40. For the second time, we focused on our run speed and were able to shave off 2 mins and 17 secs to finish in 1:00:23. For the third? We shoot for sub 1 hr!

The greatest lesson I’m taking from the experience is not to fear those moments of failure where I’m faced with the choice to quit or push through. But instead seek them out, because those are the moments you get better. If you’re not failing, you’re not growing!” -

is a fashion designer and an aspiring fitness/ wellness professional. As a stage 3C cancer survivor, she realized how resilient she is and describes this chapter as “not a memory that brings fear or sadness but an experience that gives me courage and confidence to be fearless; and the perspective to be grateful for the body.” Her personal commitment is to explore and push herself in every aspect of her life.

A; Hong Kong

Q:Have you played professional / college sports?
A: No, I was too busy competing in the College Game of “Curves and GPAs” lol

Q: How many times/hours do you practice per week?
A: 12-15 practices

Q: What’s your favorite AARMY program?
A: End Game

Q: Define your mindset in one word?
A: Resilient

Q: What is your self-talk when it’s challenging?
A: I had a direct quote from Akin “your best is valid”… I am sure it is an entirely different context at the time he spoke about it, but the last few days, he’s been talking about how “is this your best? Don’t settle for less.”

Q: Fun Fact!
A: I quit sports after high school. At 40, I picked up sports and fitness again and I am loving every minute of it! Btw, I am turning 48 (in 3 months) 😜
