For Adam. Steady, patient, and still making me laugh.
For Poppy. Finding her way into our lives and becoming part of our family.
For another year through Zoe’s teen years, because that season is not easy and I am ready for it to be over.
This year also held loss. I lost my dad.
I am grateful I got to say goodbye and that he is back with my mom. Grief and gratitude can exist at the same time.
I am grateful for my body.
For its strength.
For the discipline built through years of showing up.
For the clarity of mind that comes from doing hard things consistently.
And I am grateful for the belief that next year can be better.
Not perfect.
But better.
What are you grateful for as this year ends? Share one thing in the comments or save this as a reminder.

At some point, your body stops letting you cut corners.
That’s not failure.
That’s feedback.
DM me if you want help building habits that actually support your body now.

20 years ago, at just 20 years old, I met Adam. If you told me then that I had just met the person I’d build a life with, I’m not sure I would’ve believed it. Yet here we are more two decades of memories, highs, lows, growth, and everything in between.
My marriage advice has never changed: learn your love language, communicate it clearly, and don’t expect your partner to be a mind reader (sorry, Adam 😉). Mine are physical affection and words of affirmation, so I try to tell Adam exactly what I need. And I’ve learned his, too. Meeting each other where we are has been everything.
We are absolutely in the marathon of marriage and I have been training and I can’t wait for the second half. Here’s to 20 years down, and so much more ahead

Twice in two weeks, someone at the grocery store has stopped me to say, “Wow, you’re strong” as I carry all of my groceries out of the store.
And honestly? That feels pretty great.
Because yes, I lift in the gym. Yes, I teach classes. But the real payoff is when strength shows up in everyday life such as carrying all the groceries in one trip, loading luggage in the car, or moving furniture without a second thought.
It’s a reminder that the work you put in doesn’t just change how you look, it changes how you live.
Do you take your groceries in one trip?

Your workouts, your schedule, and even your dog walks don’t mean much without recovery.
Some days it feels like my entire life revolves around workouts, my kids’ sports schedules, and making sure the dog gets her energy out.
The magic is on the other side, when I slow down, snuggle up with Poppy, and just pause. That’s when I refill my tank.
Rest, recovery, and good nutrition are what actually allow us to hit our goals. Without them, the wheels come off fast.
So if you’re juggling a full plate (kids, work, workouts, and everything in between), remember: the quiet moments count just as much as the busy ones.
Your turn: what’s your version of a reset?
A dog cuddle, a walk outside, or something else?
Drop it 👇 — I’d love to hear.

Celebrate the glimmers
It’s not always about the big milestones—sometimes it’s the small, sweet moments that matter most.
After Ryan gave it his all at his cross country meet and Zoe helped her team crush their game, we walked to our favorite local ice cream shop () for a little victory treat (and yes, Poppy got her pup cup too).
Only moderate disagreement between the two of them about who got to walk Poppy 🥰🤣
These are the wins worth savoring.

25 years ago today I met this handsome guy as we moved into our respective flats in London. If I had known then what I know now, I wouldn’t have changed a thing.
The only question is… who’s aged more?

Hills don’t run themselves. Today I did!
Slow and steady finishes the race.
Ten miles, one step at a time.
Most of the miles felt smooth, mile 8-9 were a grind, but the key was simple: keep moving forward. One foot in front of the other, one hill at a time, and trust that every step adds up.
Grateful for the strength, focus, and chance to run through such a beautiful (and hilly!) course.

We squeezed in one perfect beach day, and we didn’t even go to the beach.
We had an epic boat adventure. Everyone got up on skis (with me leading the charge), and I was reminded how much I want to be able to do that for years to come.
Family time like this felt extra sweet especially because the reality of middle school schedules came crashing in as we pulled away. 😭😩

Not exactly the beach vacation we pictured
Mother Nature with her rain and wind had other plans. I’ll admit, I was very bummed.
But getting out for a workout turned the whole day around.
We did a Half Murph:
🏃♀️ ½ mile run
💪 50 pull-ups
🙌 100 push-ups
🦵 150 air squats
🏃♀️ ½ mile run
Once we got moving, the rain didn’t feel so bad.
And more importantly—it 1000% made my brain feel better. Sometimes the best way to shift your mood is just to start.
