Happy almost weekend Slopers! We have some exciting news, one of our Yoga subs who you mightβve taken a class with over this year is now teaching our Tuesday class! You can catch Tori on the mat Tuesdays at 6:30pm all summer long πππ§ββοΈ Guests are always welcome to drop in for classes, everyone must sign up in advance (click the link in our bio to go to our website).
Hereβs a little about Tori-
After years of dedicated practice as a yoga student, I felt inspired to deepen my journey and pursued my 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher certification. My training was a truly transformative experience, enriching both my practice and my perspective. Teaching allows me to not only share the gifts yoga has given me, but also to connect with students from all different walks of life β creating a space for growth, mindfulness, and most importantly, community.
Iβm thrilled to be officially joining the Slope Fitness team and canβt wait to flow with you all on the mat! See you in class πβ¨

Hi everyone,
Today marks a truly special milestone for me and the entire Slope Fitness family. Exactly 13 years ago, on May 1, 2012, we proudly opened our doors. It feels like just yesterday, and now we're celebrating our 13th anniversary β our birthday, and in a way, our Bar Mitzvah!
I am filled with immense gratitude for the wonderful Park Slope community, who embraced us and gave us the opportunity to become your trusted health club. Our slogan, "it's a family thing," resonates more deeply with each passing year, and it's all thanks to you, our incredible members and dedicated staff. We simply wouldn't be here without your unwavering support.
A special thank you goes to our exceptional General Manager, Lina Pypec. From starting nearly 13 years ago as a Front Desk Assistant and Day Care worker, you have grown into the remarkable leader who runs our entire operation. Thank you for your dedication and hard work.
To my daughter, Sydney Carlin, thank you for your invaluable help in getting us ready to open all those years ago, even while you were away at SUNY New Paltz. Your innovative spirit, from teaching on the roof during COVID to your continued contributions, keeps us moving forward. You're the best!
To my better half, Teresita Morales, your support in countless ways has been instrumental in our growth. You keep me focused, determined, and always pushing toward new horizons.
To the rest of my family and friends, I extend my heartfelt appreciation for your constant support over the past 13 years.

Hello Slopers βΊοΈ We are very excited to announce that Pilates is officially back to the schedule! Please welcome Megan to our group fitness team! She will be teaching Mat Pilates on Mondays at 6:30pm starting next week (3/3). Guests are always welcome to drop in for classes, everyone must sign up in advance (go to www.slopefit.com/classes to register).
Hereβs a little about Megan-
Meg Hasou is a Brooklyn-based dance and performance artist. She graduated from the University of the Arts where she received a BFA in Dance and a Pilates Mat Certification, and studied Music Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology. She has danced internationally in Berlin and Brussels and is continuing to freelance here in NYC. Meg is passionate about pilates being an inclusive and accessible form of exercise for everyone, whether you are new to movement or have an established practice. Megβs class has a classical foundation with some contemporary elements and is designed to make you feel good in mind and body.
