When I started my training with , I only had the slightest inkling of how expansive my life would become. Seven years later, I'm still so grateful every day that I get to work with the most amazing humans.

Helping people reach goals, work on relationships, get unstuck, deepen their confidence, and create their best lives fills me with so much joy and satisfaction. I learn so much by setting aside my agenda to serve my clients... It's beyond a blessing to witness and help guide their journeys.

To everyone I've worked with in the past and present, abundant thanks to you and your loved ones for giving me this window on your life and transformations.

If you or anyone you know is looking for a transformative journey, message me for a free session to see if we'd be a fit. Happy Thanksgiving to those who are celebrating, and blessings to everyone around the world, no matter where you are today. 🦃💛✨

When I first saw this display, I gasped at how stuck the mannequins seemed. It's almost as if they wanted to take on the world and fly, but instead, they had just hung there, not knowing what to do until someone took them down.

We all get stuck from time to time. Paralyzed in the routines of our comfort zones, we hang out until something happens or someone else drags us out of them.

What might happen if you take a different approach today? Consider one thing you've wanted to try but haven't yet. Are there any obstacles? If so, what can you do to remove them? If not, what's one step you can take today to try that thing you've put off attempting?

Go. Swing. Fly.

I know for many, it feels really dark right now. It's hard to know how to respond, for those facing the possibility of very undesired changes ahead.

The peace I've found this week comes from a commitment I've made to myself and the world around me to stay open. Open-hearted and open-minded, with open ears and eyes.

I can show compassion and empathy to my loved ones, friends, and clients, and that gives me purpose and makes me feel whole.

With an open mind, I leave myself malleable to possible outcomes, paths, and choices. Most of us are not without choices for change, and for those of us who have the means, we can try to be a voice for those who don't have as many choices as we do.

My ears are open to hear. With that, I need a good sense of non-attachment, so I can really hear the underlying desires and needs of the person next door who may not agree with me. I know it's tempting to slap the label of "other" onto people on the other side of the aisle, but staying open to hear gives us more chances to understand, empathize, or sometimes influence someone's perspective of the world. It doesn't always work, but it does help us sleep at night and work with our colleagues during the day.

Finally, my eyes are open. I don't recommend being overly vigilant or anxious, but I know we have a better shot at surviving and thriving if we keep our eyes open for changes to which we may need to respond, for ourselves, our families, and for humanity. Staying open to possibilities for avenues to help others, for opportunities for positive change and growth, we will get through to the other side, together.

If this all sounds too positive right now for your current frame of mind, then just try to stay open to the present. In truth, it's all that really exists and all we really have. In practice, staying in the moment will help you breathe and function when you feel like you just can't.

Finally, if you're looking for inspiration, my favorites are Brené Brown, Eckhart Tolle, Don Miguel Ruiz, and Paolo Coelho. My favorite heart-healing audiobook is probably A Manuscript Found in Accra, read gorgeously by Jeremy Irons.

Be love for each other. Stay open. We need you.

I just saw a bird land and catch a worm in Central Park. It's just past 7pm here. F that early bird gets the worm nonsense. It's never too late to make the choice to actively show up for what you want in life.

Thank you to for your great offerings for International Coaching Week 2024! In my favorite session so far, Dr. Marshall Goldsmith and Pranav Ramanathan discussed the idea that we start over every time we take a breath. So many of us think we are the way they are and can't change. Or, we judge our circumstances and think that things will be better when... we get a promotion, a partner, a new home, etc.

Now is the sweet spot. It's actually the only thing that exists. As Marshall said today, "just like everybody else, we start over every day. There's no there you're gonna get to." So if you want change, good news! We can reinvent all the time, and we don't have to wait until that impossible future perfection. Change is now.

Last night was such a joy!!! I was so happy to see my dear friend and fellow - and we had a blast! First, we saw absolutely kill it in . It was so great to see him for a bit after the show and catch up. If you haven't seen the show, it's really stunning and a lot of fun. I'm pretty sure my inner child was smiling the whole time.

So, what to do after that? Dessert at , of course!!! I'm so grateful to know such warm-hearted people, and to have the chance to play on days like these. Wishing both of you gentlemen all good things, with so much love for making my day worth living.

For my entire life, I've adored our big blue earth. I don't always know how best to show up in our time of enormous climate change, but I try to keep showing up to see what's possible.

This weekend, I'm thrilled to participate in the Leadership Training with and so many passionate leaders and citizens.

Tonight's sessions were amazing, and I was most inspired by the work is doing with the EPA and his incredible passion for underserved communities and that everyone can participate in the transition to a cleaner future.

Huge thanks to Al Gore and his inspired direction, as well as everyone making this weekend happen. Grateful to be one of 3,000 in attendance, and thank you to for letting me know this was happening and how to apply.

I'm thrilled to connect more with myself, like-minded attendees, and what's possible.

I know the process of experiencing grief, or frankly any intense emotion, looks different for everyone. We need some element of mindfulness, for sure. I personally benefit most from taking the time to close my eyes and, without judgment, check in to see how my body feels when I'm experiencing an emotion.

No matter how you choose to go about it, taking the mind itself and judgement out of the equation can go a long way toward actual healing. Somehow, removing yourself from the mind's judgement of how things should be allows you to fully see and hear the parts of you that can get buried underneath your survival mechanism.

Don't get me wrong, discernment is key and different from judgment. If you can connect to your body with honest curiosity about just your feelings, rather than the situation itself, it'll allow you to really feel and process whatever you're going through.

We need those quiet spaces of acceptance. We need to allow ourselves to feel heard and seen. If we're too busy, too uncomfortable, or in denial, we can get in the way of growth and healing. Most importantly, if we can't even be there for ourselves, how can we be there for our loved ones?

Whatever you're feeling today, give yourself a moment to just be there for it, fully, and enjoy the satisfaction of just being. This is life, after all.

This morning, I had two friends to congratulate on social media. One had passed a big test, the other announced a new gig. I had to tweak my responses from my instinct to say too much.

Over the years, I've how to apologize well. I take responsibility, don't make excuses, and acknowledge the other party or show them I see and hear them. When acknowledging compliments, I usually do a great job there, too. I say thank you or express how much it means to hear that from them. Both of these habits took some serious learning, humility, and practice.

Back to this morning. To congratulate my friend, I almost said, "Congratulations. I'm not surprised at all." Although that would've shown that I know my friend has the intelligence and tools to succeed, it also might have undermined all the hard work he'd put into it! So, I left it at congratulations.

For my friend with her new gig, I almost said, "Welcome! I'm so happy for you!" I erased the welcome. Yes, I'm thrilled that I might get to see my friend at the opera house, who cares if I'm already there? I don't need to highlight my experiences when congratulating her, so I decided to just say "Woohoo! I'm so happy for you!"

After all, these achievements aren't about me in the least. I want my words to celebrate them and again, express that I see them and hear them. When it comes to congratulating, sometimes less is certainly more.
