🔥 Agnistambhasana / Fire Log Pose 🔥
Also known as Double Pigeon, this hip-opening pose gets its name from the way the shins stack like logs on a fire.
It’s a deep stretch for the outer hips, glutes, and piriformis, perfect after a long day of sitting, walking, or flowing.
To enter, start seated and stack one shin on top of the other, flexing both feet to protect your knees.
Stay upright or fold forward for a deeper release.
Great for:
• Releasing tension in the hips
• Supporting lower back health
• Cultivating patience + grounding energy
Move slowly, breathe deeply, and listen to your body. Not everyone’s “fire logs” stack the same. Props are always welcome!
