Not because everything is perfect, but because I'm finally putting my energy into the things that matter most: my health, my recovery, my clients, and my future.

And the progress is already showing.

Yesterday, I hit a milestone I've never achieved before: 220 pounds on the leg extension machine, using the entire weight stack.

More importantly, I feel like I'm moving in the right direction again.

Since returning from Rhode Island, I've tightened up my nutrition, improved my recovery habits, and started planning my next phase of training. The goal is simple: build more muscle, get stronger, reduce body fat, and continue becoming a better version of myself.

I'll be placing extra focus on developing my hamstrings, upper back, traps, and neck—areas that contribute to strength, posture, and long-term resilience.

The physique isn't where I want it to be yet. But compared to where I was 12 weeks ago, the difference is night and day.

Progress isn't always dramatic. Sometimes it's making one difficult decision, staying consistent, and trusting that small improvements will eventually become major changes.

If you're working toward a goal of your own, keep going. The results may take longer than you'd like, but they're worth the effort.

What fitness goal are you currently working toward? Let me know in the comments.

About ten weeks into my return to the gym following the removal of a pituitary adenoma.

Strength is finally climbing again, even with taking baby steps. It’s hard to tell from this picture, but my traps have thickened up a lot - which was one of my biggest goals coming back into training.

That said, the comeback hasn’t been smooth.

Returning to work brought a level of financial stress that pushed me into brutal early mornings at a second job, while also taking on my first private clients since 2021. My recovery suffered. My sleep became terrible. Fat loss stalled.

I kept telling myself that if I just hustled harder, things would eventually stabilize.

But a coach at NJ Sports Academy said something to me a few weeks ago that stuck:
“If you’re hustling, you’re not making any money.”

At first, it sounded backwards. Now I understand it completely.

Burning yourself into the ground isn’t sustainable. You can’t build your health, your business, or your future if you’re constantly exhausted.

So next week, I’m stepping away from that second job to fully focus on what matters most: my health, my clients, and the future I’m trying to build.

And honestly? I think this is the right move.

If you’re in Clifton, Ramsey, or the surrounding area and want focused, personalized training built around real progress, send me a message.

September, 2019. This was taken at an art exhibition you curated in Lower Manhattan. If I had known it would be the last time I’d ever see you alive, I would’ve stayed longer. I would’ve said more.

Even long before my admiration for you deepened, there was always something about you that drew me in. Maybe it was your artistic spirit, your way with words, or the quiet Romanticism you carried into everything you created.

Whatever it was, it left a lasting mark on me.

What I know for certain is how grateful I am that you came into my life when you did. I'm also grateful we maintained contact long after you retired from the NYC DOE. And I will never forget what you did for me when we first began working together more than ten years ago. Your kindness, your belief in me, and the way you carried yourself through life meant more to me than I was ever able to fully express.

You will always be a hero to me, even if you once wore a shirt that said “BE YOUR OWN HERO.” In a way, that phrase suited you perfectly. You inspired people simply by being who you were.

Thank you for everything.

Goodnight, Michele.

Every session has a purpose.

Every program is built around the individual. No guesswork. No random workouts. When training is structured and tailored, people don’t just “work out”—they actually progress.

I appreciate you, Sofia.

I have a few spots open in Clifton and Ramsey for people who want real coaching, not just a workout.
