For too long women have been taught to avoid heavy weights for fear of getting “bulky”. This misconception has lead to broken hips that some women never recover from.

I just wanted to take a moment to discuss the difference between exercise and training. Exercise will help maintain overall health without any specific goal. You can make progress on your physical capacity but not in any specific area. Training on the other hand is structured exercises with a specific goal in mind. Training involves a plan as well as repetition, and commitment. This is something to consider when you’re planning your routine.
