LDP 12u had a good day going 2-1 in the Monster Mash. Hopefully our young Gatorade spokeswomen can rehydrate, replenish, and refuel in time for playoffs coming tomorrow 😎🔥

Congratulations to LDP 14u! The team went 3-0 yesterday in the Strong Island Throw Cancer a Curve tournament and earned the # 1 seed in the playoffs. Then they were 2-0 today beating Empire Black 14u 4-2 in the championship game!

Congrats to the LDP 16/18u showcase team for their second place finish in the USSSA Island Fastpitch Invitational this past weekend! The team went 4-1-1 which included a walk off victory in their first playoff game on Sunday!

LDP is proud to announce that 16/18u catcher Megan Chelius (2026) has committed to play softball at Union College, where she intends to pursue a degree in engineering. Congratulations to Megan, who has played with LDP for the past five years. No one has worked harder than Megan to achieve her goal of playing college softball, and thanks to for turning that goal into a reality.

***EISENHOWER PARK TRYOUTS CANCELED TONIGHT AUGUST 1***

Due to all of the heavy rain yesterday, the Eisenhower Park fields are unplayable. Unfortunately, tonight’s tryouts are canceled.

***TRYOUTS CANCELED TONIGHT (JULY 31) AT KISSENA 10***

The tryouts scheduled for tonight are canceled because there are storms and rain in the forecast. This tryout is now scheduled for Monday August 4 at Kissena 10.

LDP 10u finished as the runner up this weekend in their tournament at Ambulance field in Brentwood. They won their first playoff game 10-4 vs Phoenix Fire but lost in the championship game 10-1 vs LI Elite on Sunday.
