Since teasing the release of our first-ever Hajime No Ippo x Superare boxing gloves, we’ve seen a ton of excitement—and even higher expectations.

Today, we finally get to release them into the wild for everyone making the trip to our in-store drop, so we wanted to break down some of the details.

These gloves feature what we’re calling our “Japanese-style” construction. The cut, fit, feel and protection are all reminiscent of the Japanese-style gloves that have become so popular among serious fighters.

The outer shell is made from ultra-premium Italian cowhide leather, finished with a distinctive shine and rich, high-end texture.

Inside, the gloves feature a multi-layered foam blend made primarily with latex padding, delivering a protective yet responsive feel.

For this release, the gloves are available exclusively in lace-up and come packaged in a limited-edition Hajime No Ippo collector’s box.

Production was intentionally kept extremely limited to maintain the highest possible level of quality. So if you’ve had your eye on them, do not sleep—these will sell out.
