: The Power of Nature 🌳
This week, I’m diving into The Overstory by Richard Powers, a novel that celebrates the interconnectedness of trees and their profound impact on our world. The way trees communicate, support, and share resources with one another is a reminder of how we, too, are all interconnected in ways we might not always see.
As leaders, we can learn a lot from the way trees work together, nurturing the forest as a whole. Let’s embrace our own connections, both with nature and with each other, to grow and thrive together.
How can you nurture the relationships in your life today? Let’s take a lesson from the trees. 🌿

: Awakening Your Intuition 🌿
There’s something magical about a walk in nature. 🌱 Not only does it clear your mind, but it also opens you up to deeper insights. This week, I’m recommending Awakening Intuition by Dr. Mona Lisa, a powerful read that helps you connect with your inner wisdom, despite the cold whether you may be enduring.
If you're feeling stuck or need clarity, take a break and step outside. Whether it's a walk around the block or time in a local park, nature has a way of helping you tune into your intuition. 🌳
Let’s kick off the week with some fresh air and fresh ideas. What’s your favorite way to reconnect with yourself?
💡 Monday Musings: What Literature and Art Is Close to Your Heart? 💬
Art and poetry express the ineffable — the things we feel deeply but can’t always put into words. 🎨📖
🎬 In this week’s , I share one of my favorite books, The Essential Mystics, and a traditional Navajo song that has always inspired me:
“I’ve been to the end of the earth.
I’ve been to the end of the waters.
I’ve been to the end of the sky.
I’ve been to the end of the mountains.
I’ve found none that were not my friends.”
This week, I challenge you to reflect on the art, literature, or poetry that resonates with you. 💛 How does it shape the way you see the world? If there's a favorite poem of yours, I’d love for you to write it in the comments and send it to me. ✨
Stay tuned for Thursday Thoughts, where we’ll dive deeper into how poetry can teach us about impermanence and leave a lasting legacy. 🎥

✨ Thursday Thoughts: Accent “Erasure” 💭
We all have accents and dialects — they’re a part of who we are. So, why do we feel the pressure to “erase” them? 🎥 In this week’s Thursday Thoughts, I’m sharing my take on accent inclusivity and the power of clarity in communication.
In the video, you’ll learn:

🎂 It’s my birthday — and, fun fact, I share my birthday with Elvis! 🎉🎶
As a little girl, I absolutely loved celebrating my birthday. 🥳 Somewhere after 40, that excitement waned a bit as life threw its curveballs, like it does to us all at one time or another. But now I’m back to fully embracing the joy of life — the incredible things my body can do, and the gift of meaningful friendships. 🥰
The best birthday celebration for me isn’t about big parties or elaborate plans — it’s about people coming together, laughing, and cherishing the gift of simply being alive. ✨
And here’s another fun fact: I love the number 8. Its infinity shape reminds me of endless growth and possibility, exactly what I hope each year will bring. ∞
How do you like to celebrate your birthday? 🎉 Let me know in the comments! ➡️💭
💡 Monday Musings: Your Culture is Who You Are 💬
Welcome to the first NEW Monday Musing of the year! 🎉 In this iteration of the series, I'll be pulling some of my favorite books off my bookshelf and sharing some wisdom with you. The first book I've chosen for 2025 is 'The Right to Speak' by Patsy Rodenburg. It’s a powerful reminder that your voice — the way you naturally speak, shaped by your culture and experiences — is authentic and valuable.
As we step into 2025, I invite you to declare your vocal rights. Let go of the pressure to sound like someone else, and instead, honor the voice that is uniquely yours. Your accent, your tone, and your rhythm are part of who you are — and they tell your story. 💛
Later this week in Thursday Thoughts, we’ll dive deeper into the topic of accent “erasure” and why embracing the diversity of sound matters. Until then, have a marvelous Monday, and let’s thrive this year by showing up fully and unapologetically as ourselves! 💫
