After 30 years in NYC basketball… I’ve seen what works—and what destroys talent.
Now I’m teaching the full game!!!

In 1987, NYC high school basketball was not soft. That era was loaded. If your name is printed on an All-City team page in that time period, that means something.
When a 17-year-old version of you was denied his senior season…
and no adult stepped up…
a part of you made a quiet promise:
“No one I touch will be left unprotected.”
BLACK HISTORY MONTH? “Tha Other Side Of Winnin”. I wonder how many of us are still traumatized by trying to not do what our fathers did? Instead of learning to be that FATHER!!!
To me Jordan is saying it use to be
Discipline was assumed.
Coaches controlled access.
Kids needed the system.
But Today’s game
Leverage exists early.
Exposure comes before maturity.
Coaches don’t control opportunity the same way.
So now coaching isn’t just:
“Run the offense.”
“Play defense.”
“Earn your spot.”
Now it’s:
Teach emotional regulation.
Teach financial literacy.
Teach brand responsibility.
Teach humility in visibility.
Teach how to handle attention without losing hunger.- “BOOKSB4BALL”

LA was Epic! The game isn’t just played on the court.
It’s shaped at the table.
Respect to the visionaries pushing culture forward!!!
