Throw back to at least 13 years ago at the NYS Police Olympics in Albany, NY. During the time this event was held, the Finest won the gold medal at least 10 years in a row with one year where they won the Silver medal. Other law enforcement teams that competed in the soccer competition were Nassau PD, Suffolk PD, NYS Police, Buffalo CBP and Rochester PD.

Several members of the Finest Soccer Team had the pleasure and honor to present the Honorable Police Commissioner, Dermot F. Shea with the North American Police Soccer Tournament Championship Trophy they captured this past October in Austin, Texas. The team has won this event in:

2018 Nashville, Tennessee
2019 Mississauga, Toronto

Good day for the Finest yesterday as all Three teams ended the Fall season in the Cosmopolitan Soccer League with wins. It's a wonder we were able to roster 3 teams with the injuries and work details going on during this Holiday Season. The Veteran's beat Manhattan Celtics Masters 2-1 and are now tied for 1st Place with Ridgewood Romac on points. The 2nd Team beat SC Eintracht 2-1 and the 1st team convincingly beat SC Eintrach 5-2 in their match. Now it's time to rest, heal the body and enjoy the Holidays. Spring season training and tryouts will start mid January indoors. There will be plenty of spots available on the 1st Team as many players have dropped off commitment wise and playing ability 🇺🇸⚽️💙

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of former Finest team member, Detective Brenton "Tata" Cole, 83 Pct We pray for him and his family.🙏🙏💙 Brent passed away last night playing what he loved most, "Futbol" He was a gentle man and although he didn't play with this team anymore, he always kept it real and was always pleasant.
