Kids ages 7-10 are invited to join us for a fun week of movement, mindfulness, reflection, and play. Weaving between the studio, parks, and library, students will enjoy wide open spaces to explore the peace of gentle yoga, deep breathing, and connection to the self and one another.

July 28 - Aug 1 and/or Aug 18-22 from 9-3 pm or 9-5 pm. Only 6 spots available in each week! ☀️

Congratulations to the yoga teacher training class of 2025! The level of dedication and transformation in this group of whip-smart women was nothing short of amazing. They asked every question, went the extra mile on every assignment, and continually showed up eager to learn more, all while staying so true to themselves. The final classes they taught this weekend were beautiful - creative and seamless, edited and rehearsed over months with the help of our mentors and . Thank you for letting us be a part of this journey! Truly, there are few things so inspiring. We can’t wait to take your classes!

Our remarkable group of teachers in training met up in the country to refine their new skills and ended up writing and memorizing an entire class complete with beautiful transitions I’ve never thought of myself. There’s no better part of our job than teaching new teachers, and we’re so grateful to our students for letting us be part of the journey.

Have you taken class with the luminous Ricki? She melds creative sequences with clear cues all while keeping the energy of the room lighthearted and bright. Start your day with her each Thursday at 7 am or catch her subbing for (new mama!!) Ruthie on Saturdays at 9 am until March. Get to know her below! Photos:

Q: Where did you grow up?

A: I grew up on the south shore of Long Island about 10 minutes from Jones Beach. The salty air of the beach kept me grounded in nature while being so close to NYC gave me access to the vibrant cultural scene - rock shows, art galleries, and all the creative energy the city has to offer.

Q: What is your favorite part about being a yoga teacher?

A: I feel immense gratitude being part of such an expansive lineage, from my teachers to their teachers. It’s a vast circle of wisdom and connection, and I hope my students feel part of that legacy too. 🙏🏽

Q: How would you describe your class in 3 adjectives?

A: Intentional, fluid and centered. I guide my students through dynamic flows that build heat and strength, helping them stay steady and grounded through each transition.

Q: What is your favorite thing to do in NYC?

A: I love to mosey and sonder, exploring the city without an agenda. It’s about soaking in the energy of each neighborhood and finding beauty in the ordinary.

Q: What is your sun sign?

A: Gemini! I’ve got a Libra moon and Sagittarius rising, so I’m all about balance, adventure and deep conversations.

Q: What is your dream travel destination?

A: Copenhagen’s Nørrebro neighborhood is my favorite! The energy, the food and the design - it’s a place that feels both creative and peaceful. I can’t wait to go back. Have you been?

Q: What are your favorite Greenpoint businesses?

A: El Pingüino has the best energy. Their Mussels Escabeche and low abv cocktail the Bicicleta are a perfect pairing for a relaxed evening out.

Q: What do you hope people feel when they leave your class?

A: I hope that people leave my class feeling connected to something bigger than themselves - empowered, grounded, and ready to take on the day.

Two weeks from today, our 200 hour yoga teacher training will begin. If you’ve thought about diving in deeper, we’re here to take you there. Our program includes a weekend retreat to the Catskills and is completely in person and accredited by Yoga Alliance. Being a YA registered teacher, as you would be, won’t be required for you to teach at studios after you’ve graduated, but it is essential if you ever want to create your own YA accredited training. It’s a privilege to share such a rich practice with our students and to get to know them and help them to know themselves more completely so that they may put their own authentic spin on their new craft. We can’t wait to get started. We hope you’ll join us. Email [email protected] with questions 📖 photo:

Conquering self-doubt in our yoga practice brings incredible empowerment to other, seemingly unrelated parts of our lives. Join Yvonne to learn the mechanics of various inversions and arm balancing postures. Take this knowledge with you to class or to your living room floor to open a new portal of play. Appropriate for all levels. Yvonne will meet you where you’re at! photo:
