Prosecutors in Tiger Woods’ DUI case sought access to his prescription records, and a judge has now granted that request over objections from Woods’ defense team...
The records will not become public, though. A protective order was issued, meaning they’ll be shielded from Florida’s open records law and limited to prosecutors, law enforcement and expert witnesses.
Per ESPN, prosecutors want to see how often Woods’ prescriptions were filled, how many pills were involved, the dosage amounts and any warnings that came with them, including warnings about driving while taking the medication.

More tragic news out of the NBA today as 13-year NBA veteran center Jason Collins has passed away at the age of 47 after a battle with glioblastoma...
Collins played for six teams across his NBA career and became the first active openly gay player in league history in 2013.
Rest in peace, Jason Collins.

The Philadelphia 76ers and president of basketball operations Daryl Morey have parted ways, ending his six-year run with the franchise.
Morey met with team ownership Tuesday night before the decision was made, while head coach Nick Nurse is expected to stay with the team.

Texas Football head coach Steve Sarkisian called out Ole Miss transfer portal practice and academic standards, telling USA today's Matt Hayes:
“At Texas, we will only take 50% of a player’s academic credit hours...You may be a semester from graduating, but you’re going all the way back to 50% if you play here and want a degree. But at Ole Miss, they can take you. All you have to do is take basket weaving, and you can get an Ole Miss degree.”

Absolutely tragic news out of the NBA as Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke has died at the age of 29...
NBC LA reports that LAFD paramedics responded to a 911 call for a medical emergency shortly after 5 p.m. Monday and pronounced Clarke dead at the scene.
The incident is being investigated as a possible overdose after drug paraphernalia was found in the home, according to NBC LA. An autopsy will determine the official cause and manner of death.

The Vegas Golden Knights are holding up the Edmonton Oilers’ attempt to interview Bruce Cassidy, according to Frank Seravalli.
Cassidy was fired by Vegas in March, but he still has another guaranteed year left on his contract, leaving it up to the Golden Knights to allow or deny the request.
So far, they are reportedly withholding permission from their division rival, even though Cassidy landing another job could reduce what Vegas still owes him...

LeBron James is officially headed for unrestricted free agency now that the Los Angeles Lakers have been eliminated from the NBA playoffs...
