🇺🇸 First USA College Scholarship! ⚾️📚
🥹 We know Yordano Ventura would have been proud of his cousin Fabian Hernandez! …who just accepted a Full-Ride Scholarship to Western Oklahoma State College!!
🙏🏼 Thank you so much to all who made this happen! Our sponsors, coaches, teachers & especially to Johan Ramirez & our partner program Dream Big, who promoted Fabian & made it possible to showcase his talent in front of USA college coaches!
🏟 Western Oklahoma is one of the best Division 1 baseball programs in the United States! 🇺🇸 Recent National Champions & 31 of their players have signed Major League Baseball contracts since 2004.
💪🏽 When Fabian began training with us he said, “I promised my cousin Yordano that I will sign a professional contract.”
Fabian, because of your hard work & competitive fire… 🔥 You are now one BIG step closer to making your promise a reality.
⚾️ I mean this with all due respect…to the MLB scouts who didn’t want to take a chance on an 18 year old baby-faced kid, touching 87 w/ pinpoint command of 3 nasty pitches & a chip on his shoulder… No problem 😉 We won’t hold it against you.
💪🏽 Our boy Fabian is going to use academics & baseball to secure his future with a USA college education…and then sign for 10x as much as he would have gotten in the DR, when he’s 20 pounds stronger & touching 95mph 🔥
