This is not AI! this is a real piebald moose. Piebald coloring is caused by a rare genetic mutation that affects how pigment cells develop, creating irregular white patches while still leaving normal eye color and darker fur, unlike albinism. The coloring itself doesn’t harm the animal, but the gene responsible can sometimes be linked to other developmental issues. In white-tailed deer, piebald individuals are more likely to have vision problems, skeletal abnormalities, or smaller body size, which can affect survival. With moose, those issues are far less documented simply because piebald moose are extremely rare, but the same genetic risks may still exist. That combination of rarity, striking appearance, and biological nuance is why sightings like this draw so much attention when they surface.

Polar bear hunts are one of the strangest contradictions in modern wildlife policy: they’re legally hunted in places like Canada under strict quotas, science-based management, and Indigenous allocation systems, yet it’s illegal for a hunter to bring a legally harvested bear back into the United States. The result is a system where the hunt itself is allowed, conservation funding is generated, local communities benefit, and populations in many regions are stable or increasing, yet the trophy is treated as if it came from an illegal act. Polar bears are managed as a renewable wildlife resource in those areas, not endangered across the board, and blocking import does nothing for conservation while undermining the very management programs that have kept numbers strong. It’s a feel good rule that sounds protective but ignores biology, population data, and how conservation actually works on the ground.

They may look soft and cuddly, but if you’re not careful, they can ruin your life in a matter of seconds.
The other one pictured is a bear.

I’ve been hunting this buck for a while pretty hard, and he always seem to come in as soon as I leave, I went in there late today thinking nothing of it because he wasn’t showing up in the daytime and as soon as I sat down, he walked out, as I called my dad and told him he said I’m not even lying to you when I dropped you off I prayed you would get that buck and that it would make your whole year. God works in mysterious ways and I’m truly blessed that I get to do what I love and hunt these animals in his creation.
P.S. my dad told me to take his 300 win mag instead of my 30-06 and all I have to say is he may not be getting his 300 back 🤣
