Our Intermediate Performance Workshop, led by Miriam Barbosa, shared an excerpt of 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 by Martha Graham, with music by Louis Horst. Premiered in 1934 at the Guild Theatre in New York City and lovingly revived in 1987, 𝑪𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 is a minimalist study of joy – pure, austere, and exuberant, with no storyline other than the dance itself.
