Winter talks regarding the future of the Estrellas del 50 get underway at Casa Amadeo headquarters in the Bronx. Sources have speculated there have already been proposed dates for the upcoming 2024 Tournament in Puerto Rico. Though the team will undergo a small face-lift, largely due to the health of its creator and legend Andres "Blackie" Cruz, Segundo Colon accepts the reigns and promises to continue the legacy of his good friend and mentor Blackie. Segundo has named former Player Agent Elton Clarke as co-manager and Juan "Juanchie" Espinal will continue another season as Team Captain. Happy New Year and continue to follow us into the 2024 Baseball Season.

Today (El Rey) Blackie Cruz celebrated another Birthday and is doing fine at home. He continues to support and encourage his baby, the Estrellas Del 50 / Casa Amadeo baseball club for over 34 years. God Bless you Padre and we'll see you for the holidays!

In the interest of conforming with Federal, State and Local Guidelines for alleviating the transmission of the COVID-19 Virus Pandemic, and at the same time respecting The Island of Puerto Rico's need for their "rebuilding" phase to continue we are unable to hold our Annual Baseball competition this fall and will keep you, our loyal fans and supporters, posted on current events as they arrive. Please continue to support us with attendance at our Annual Fund Raiser in February 2021.
