2026 Chicago Bajiquan Combative Seminar. This one is structured a bit different from the past seminars. There’s no forms, instead we go over Bajiquan’s various ranges of strikings, Kao, footwork, kicks, takedowns, defense techniques, and combos. Lots of partner practice and light sparring!

This 100% FREE event was created to celebrate, connect, and elevate women in combat sports. Come share the mats, train, and learn from one of the biggest names in the game.

🎟 HOW TO ATTEND (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):

Demand for this event is incredibly high and space is strictly limited. To ensure a safe environment and a great balance of attendees from different gyms across the community, entry is based on a LOTTERY system.

⚠️ Filling out the form DOES NOT guarantee you a spot. We are actively reviewing sign-ups and will send official confirmation emails a few days after the link closes. Our guest list will be strictly enforced at the door (no confirmation email = no entry).

🛑 REQUIREMENTS:

Experience: Prior sparring experience is strictly required (no absolute beginners for this specific event).

Mandatory Gear: You must bring 14oz/16oz gloves, shin guards, and a mouth guard. (Knee pads are optional but recommended).

Post-Seminar Social: Hang out, take photos, and connect with the community immediately after we wrap up!

Will be giving a exclusive seminar on the chinese straight sword, teaching the WALKING DRAGON SWORDSMENSHIP form. Said to have originated through private transmission from general Qi Jiquang.

Kisu was famously animated in season 3 of airbender as sokka sword master Piandao, now you can experience that in real life.
