Yogee.me Kids yoga classes take place in a studio on the UES of NYC. Our classes are taught by two experienced yoga moms, who have a background in yoga, education and dance.

Urdhva mukha svanasana, or upward facing dog, is a posture that is often followed by downward facing dog. This chest opener is a great way to strengthen our wrists, arms and back while giving us a chance to counterbalance the effects of slouching at a desk all day. Upward facing dog makes us feel strong and confident!

Pigeon pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana)has many physical benefits, such as opening the hip joint and stretching the thighs. Pigeon is often used to wind down at the end of our practice, as it helps release tension and anxiety.
